The Billionaire Twins Need A New Mommy! novel Chapter 332

Chapter 332: How Is That A Requirement?

When Lola and Atlas returned home, they were immediately greeted by the twins. Chacha ran straight to her father, while Second went to Lola. Like doting parents, they carried the twins as they sang about preparing dinner.

Lola couldn’t have asked for more. This had been her life since moving in with them—or rather, her life had been like this ever since the twins and Atlas had entered it. And she was grateful it had happened.

"Young Madam," said the female helper in the manor as Lola stepped out of the twins’ room after putting them to bed. She was waiting outside, holding two envelopes. "These came today."

"Oh." Lola tilted her head and took them. "Thank you."

The helper nodded slightly before walking away. Lola examined the envelopes, both elegantly designed.

"I know Melissa is sending me her engagement invitation, but why are there two?" she wondered, opening the first envelope. "Don’t tell me she made a new one."

If so, this would be the third invitation she’d received from Melissa: the first one when Lola flew to Novera, and now these two. Upon inspecting the first, Lola shook her head.

"This looks better than the first," she muttered approvingly. "The first one was a bit tacky."

She didn’t dwell on it, knowing Melissa probably had help with these new invitations. After all, their original engagement party had been canceled due to Chairman Lancaster’s intervention. He wanted Lawrence to return Lola, her mother’s properties, before approving another engagement date.

She opened the second envelope without much thought. To her surprise, it wasn’t another engagement invitation. It was an invitation to a tea party.

"Hah." Lola shook her head, inhaling the exquisite scent from the envelope. "As expected of Celestine. Compared to the engagement invitation, this is definitely different. Better in so many ways."

"A tea party, huh?" she whispered, reading the first cursive line: Mrs. Bennet.

"I’m attending a tea party," Lola announced as she walked into the room where Atlas was already waiting. She sat on the edge of the bed, waving the envelope. "See? It’s addressed to Mrs. Bennet."

Atlas glanced at the letter peeking from the open envelope. "Have fun."

"Hehe. I will."

He watched her, raising an eyebrow as her lips curled into a mischievous smile. Curiosity got the better of him.

"What are you planning with it?"

"Well, I’m still weighing my options," Lola said, tossing herself onto the bed, wriggling until her head rested on his lap. "After all, Celestine Lancaster is a smart woman. She wouldn’t invite Mrs. Bennet for no reason—no matter how important I think I am."

"You are important."

"To you and the twins, but the social circle in Novera is probably very different from Anteca," she hummed, though she wasn’t entirely sure what it was like in Anteca. She had never been part of such a circle.

The only circles Lola knew were filled with businessmen running their companies—not their wives. Not that she looked down on wives’ roles; she simply had no time for them during her endless hustle.

"Celestine Lancaster made these tea parties desirable because of the members and exclusivity," Lola continued, and he listened attentively. "I’m sure she wants something from Mrs. Bennet."

"Whatever it is, that won’t be a problem."

"I know," she grinned. "I have the biggest leverage: YOU."

Atlas raised an eyebrow and nodded, seemingly satisfied to be used by her. He preferred this over standing idle.

"I’m not thinking about whether I’d give her what she wants," she clarified. "What I’m thinking is: what do I want from her? Something only she can give me. Something worthy of Mrs. Bennet’s time."

Minutes later, the men Lola had told to be punished stood in formation, expressions stern, eyes fixed on the two figures — Lola and Slater — before them.
