THE DIVORCE GAMBIT From Dumped Wife to CEO's Forever novel Chapter 243

Caitlin glanced over, her voice calm and almost indifferent. “Yes.”

Kelvin stared at her in disbelief.

How old was Caitlin, anyway? She couldn’t be more than twenty, could she?

The Golden Needle Channel Activation was Dr. Oracle’s signature technique—one that even Professor Prescott had studied for years without cracking the secret. He hadn’t managed to perform it successfully for Hannah, no matter how hard he tried.

But now, Caitlin claimed she could do it?

Was she serious? Or just making things up?

Kelvin opened his mouth to question her further, but the elevator chimed and the doors slid open.

Jade spoke up, “Dr. Kensington, let’s head in.”

“Alright.” Caitlin nodded lightly, stepping into the elevator.

Kelvin followed, deciding to keep his doubts to himself. Judging by the way Warren and Jade treated Caitlin, they clearly had absolute faith in her. He was just an outsider here, after all, and this was a Richards family matter. No amount of skepticism on his part would make any difference.

Soon, they reached the VIP floor.

Inside the suite, the room was packed. All eight Richards brothers were present, along with their wives and thirteen grandchildren—a full family turnout.

As the door opened, everyone rose from the sofas and armchairs in the sitting area.

“Big brother, sister-in-law, did you really bring Dr. Kensington?” someone called out.

The atmosphere was intense—almost overwhelming.

The Richardses weren’t ordinary people; they exuded a commanding presence that would have intimidated most visitors. But Caitlin was unfazed. She remained composed, her expression calm, as if nothing out of the ordinary was happening.

Jade glanced back at Caitlin with obvious admiration. This young woman was even more poised than she’d imagined. There was none of that desperate social climbing she’d seen in so many others—certainly nothing like Ann, who wore her ambitions on her sleeve, no matter how hard she tried to hide them.

Easton fell silent.

Across the room, Ann stood watching. She was just as stunned—how could a miracle doctor be this young? It had to be a scam.

Even from a distance, Ann narrowed her eyes at Caitlin. It was their first meeting, yet a sharp sense of threat curled in Ann’s chest. Caitlin was sure to steal what Ann felt rightfully belonged to her.

Before Caitlin arrived, Ann was the only woman here not related by blood to the Richardses—a striking beauty who always drew attention. But with Caitlin’s arrival, Ann felt eclipsed, her own features suddenly dull by comparison.

She prided herself on her looks, but next to Caitlin, she no longer measured up. If she’d known this would happen, she would have gotten a little work done on her chin before coming to Neon Spire. Caitlin’s chin was flawless—definitely enhanced, Ann thought bitterly.

Ann was convinced Caitlin wasn’t here to help Hannah at all—she just wanted to use this opportunity to climb the social ladder. After all, there were twelve unmarried grandsons in the Richards family. Shameless, really.

So young, yet already scheming for a shortcut to the top! Did she really think life handed out shortcuts so easily?

Ann despised women who thought they could get ahead on looks alone. This naïve little upstart had no idea what she was getting into. The eight Richards brothers were not people to be trifled with.
