Xavier had come to Silverhaven with two objectives. First, to find Celeste Hayes—after all, she was the one who had truly saved him.

"Mr. Richards," Leif replied, turning from the front seat, "the gift baskets are all purchased. They're in the trunk."

Xavier nodded. "In that case, let's go to Mr. Kensington's place first."

If he truly considered the old man his grandfather, then his first stop in Silverhaven should be Fortune's home. He wanted to be like Caitlin, who would always go home first, no matter how late she arrived.

The driver immediately changed course.
