The Veil Of Sinner novel Chapter 14

Prisila looked here and there to make sure no one was listening to their conversation.

“I will help you in running away from here, but you need to be extremely careful,” Prisila uttered because she knew how dangerous it might become for both of them if Eizlina got caught but her inner human couldn't just watch that painful horror happening to Eizlina.

“Do you have a family or any close ones who might be looking for you?” Prisila questioned her. Eizlina immediately nodded her head, so Prisila scanned their surroundings again.

“Come with me,” she said to Eizlina and took her away from there.

Prisila took Eizlina inside the house staff quarters because it was empty currently as all the staff was working right now in the manor.

“Here, call your parents and talk to them,” Prisila handed her phone to Eizlina, startling her.

“Take it and do it fast before someone would catch us,” Prisila sounded extremely tense and worried because she knew what would be the consequences for her if anyone would see her helping Eizlina in escaping from here.

She would be dead on spot.

Eizlina took the phone from Prisila and called her mother. After a couple of rings, her mother finally picked up the call.

“Hello ….” Her mother's voice immediately glistened up her eyes again.

“M….Mum,” she breathed out.

“Eizlina? Eizlina, how are you, my child? Where….”

“Mum, he is a monster. He will hurt me. Please, I want to leave. I don't want to be with him,” Eizlina told her mother everything that she had endured in this place till now.

“Prisila will help me escape from here. I…I will return back home…”

“No, don't come to Kloez manor,” her mother's words startled her.

“He might catch you here because I am sure he will come here looking for you, so we will meet at our own house,” she heard her mother saying to her.

Her mother was right. The moment he would find out she had escaped, the first place he would come searching for her was the Kloez manor, and there no one would be able to stop him from dragging her with him again, so she should not be going there.

“Okay. I will meet you at our house before this evening,” Eizlina uttered. Her parents had bought a small house last year, but no one knew about it. Not even her uncle Airkin.

“Thank you so much,” Eizlina handed the phone back to Prisila.

“Now, you need to escape before he will return. And this would only be possible through one way,” Prisila uttered to her.

“But what?” Eizlina asked her.

“You just leave it on me, but if you get caught then we both will lose our lives, Eizlina,”

Eizlina could clearly see that terror in Prisila's eyes and she exactly knew why it was there.

That man was a ruthless animal. He could kill anyone who would dare to get in between him and sick motives.

Eizlina held Prisila's both hands.

“I promise, I won't let anything happen to you, Prisila. I promise,” Eizlina gave her words to Prisila because she didn't know what was going to happen to her tonight but she would not let Prisila suffer because she attempted to save her from her pain.

“We reached your destination, ma’am,” Eizlina heard the taxi driver saying to her after he halted the taxi right in front of their house. Eizlina immediately paid the driver. Prisila had also given her some money. She could never forget about her help.

Eizlina hurriedly stepped out of the taxi and dashed towards the house, where she had come before a couple of times in her past with her parents.

She was about to knock but noticed the door was unlocked, so she immediately pushed the door open and stepped inside, believing her parents were already inside.

After entering inside, she locked the door.

“Mum….” She shouted for her mother and then ran inside the bedroom.

Her eyes watered immediately by seeing her parents finally inside that room, who looked like they were desperately waiting for her.

She saw those tears shimmering in her parents' eyes. Eizlina ran towards them and hugged her mother tightly.

She bursted out crying in her mother's arms and closed her eyes. Only she knew how painfully she was yearning to hide herself in her parents' embrace. That man had scared her so much that now even the thought of facing him again had started horrifying her.

Now she would never get in front of him ever again. Never ever.

“M..Mum…I am…” her words got stuck inside her throat when she opened her eyes. Every inch of her existence froze by seeing that person present inside that room, along with her parents.

His diabolic grey eyes were peering at her with that dreadful calmness in them. Terror ruptured inside her very soul, seeing him in front of her again, especially with her parents here this time.

How did he reach here? Why was he here with her parents….and most importantly…. what he was going to do with her now after knowing she had tried to escape from him?
