She flashed a smile at the man before her just as Oberon swung the door open.
Stepping inside, Oberon was greeted with the sight of Drusilla standing in front of Enoch, in the midst of undressing him…
He cleared his throat, “Sorry, didn’t mean to… interrupt.”
With that, Oberon quickly made his exit, shutting the door behind him.
Well, well, who would have thought things had escalated between them to this extent!?
Who knew? Drusilla sure had her ways! Even the notoriously stoic Mr. Taylor seemed to be under her spell!
Drusilla glanced at the exiting Oberon as if he was her knight in shining armor and turned to Enoch, “Oberon’s here, so let him help you with that. He surely knows how to take care of you.”
“You trying to escape?” Enoch queried.
Drusilla felt a hint of exasperation as she watched him, “Why are you torturing me this way, just because I doubted your capabilities yesterday? Haven’t you had enough fun for one night?”
Such a vindictive man!
Drusilla was seriously regretting her words now. Why did she even bother questioning him that way?
“Not enough!” Enoch declared.
“So, what do you want?” Drusilla asked.
“Go run a bath for me,” he ordered.
She shot him a look but complied, heading to the bathroom to start the water.
As she set the water running, she thought, surely she wasn’t expected to help him bathe and scrub his back too.
Drusilla had never done anything of the sort!
Well, except for those two little ones at home…
She’d never catered to a grown man before!
