Oberon checked on Drusilla with a concerned tone, "Madam, are you alright?"
Drusilla replied, "Haven't you left yet?"
She thought that Enoch had already left, only to realize his car was still parked right where they left it.
It seemed they had witnessed everything.
Upon seeing Oberon and Drusilla together, it was clear how towering Oberon was, standing close to six foot three, not only serving as Enoch's assistant but also doubling as a bodyguard.
This meant his natural expression came off as rather intimidating.
Feeling somewhat threatened and knowing she stood no chance against the duo, Saskia dramatically threw herself on the ground without any intention of getting up, and started crying out, "Oh dear, it's murder! Somebody, come quick! This woman... not only does she cheat, but she also dares to attack her mother-in-law. The shame!"
Drusilla couldn't help but find the accusation ludicrous. She and Harlan had been separated for years, and yet here Saskia was, shamelessly claiming to be her mother-in-law.
After her outcry, Saskia noticed the street was nearly empty, growing fearful of what Drusilla might do to her. She quickly pulled out her cell phone to make a call.
As soon as the call connected, she lamented from the ground, "Harlan, someone attacked me... Where am I? I'm on Breeze Lane... Hurry over, or I'll be beaten to death."
Drusilla and Oberon could only look on, at a loss for words at her melodramatic display.
After her tirade, Saskia warned Oberon, "Just you wait, my daughter-in-law's family is not to be messed with! You'll regret pushing me around."
Continuing her performance, she lay there wailing.
...
About half an hour later, Harlan arrived, accompanied by Lilith.
Parking the car by the roadside, the couple rushed over to Saskia's side.
