Still, no one pressed for details.
Just then, Vesta spoke up. “Since we’ve run into each other, why don’t we sit down and have a meal together?”
As soon as she finished, Dalton was about to agree, but Gaylord interjected first. “No, thanks. I have things to take care of. Maybe next time.”
Right after Gaylord, York chimed in, “I’ve got plans of my own too. Sorry, maybe another time.”
Dalton had come with York. He hadn’t expected York to turn her down so directly. Caught off guard, he paused, then simply echoed, “Yeah, maybe next time.”
Vesta had always been a little more attentive to Dalton. She noticed the flicker of surprise on his face and immediately realized York’s excuse was just that—a polite way to say he didn’t want to have dinner with her. She couldn’t help but notice that York’s attitude toward her was… indifferent. Not interested, but not unfriendly either—just polite distance.
She gave a slightly awkward smile. “Alright then, maybe another time.”
York nodded politely, clapped Dalton on the shoulder, and turned to leave first.
Gaylord, meanwhile, had already gone back to his seat, scrolling through his phone, ignoring Vesta completely.
Vesta had more or less expected Gaylord’s refusal. In the past, even when he pretended to be aloof, he couldn’t help but sneak glances at her, always paying attention in his own way. But now… after saying his piece, it was as if she didn’t even exist.
Before Vesta could respond, Janetta spoke up quietly, “But Mr. Hearst and Mr. Ramirez, they’re both totally devoted to you, cousin. It doesn’t seem right for you to introduce them to us…”
Laverne shot her daughter a look of exasperation. “What’s wrong with that? Feelings can grow over time. They like your cousin, but if she takes the initiative to bring you all together, who knows? Maybe something develops. You won’t know unless you try.”
Janetta fell silent.
Vesta finally spoke. “I’m not really in touch with them these days. I don’t feel comfortable playing matchmaker out of the blue.”
“It’s fine,” Laverne said. “If there’s a dinner or party and Mr. Hearst or Mr. Watson are attending, just bring Jane and the others along. That’s all it takes.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Unknown Divorce Revelation Beyond Time (Charlene and Thorne)
Chapters 480 and on are repeat from previous chapters. What's up with that? Time to stop reading this novel....
Thanks for the update. Keep them coming please!...
Any hope for Vesta being brain-dead?...
Thanks PINKK889 for the info. The same version is also on You tube except dubbed in English and titled “ I divorced my husband who cheated now begging me to come back” Enjoy...
Gosh, this is excruciating ! The slow pace made me leave this for over 3 months. Was just taking a peek and not much development. Btw they have now made this into a 3hr 40 min long drama.Available on daily motion under, the name, next chapter without you. But all the other fringe characters such as York Granger Gaylord are missing in the movie. Ending is very satisfying, practical and apt. She chooses to leave thorne and jasmine and be with Stewart. Vesta and family are inter national wanted Criminals. Not sure if they replicate the same on here. As this book is now on the app for more than 9 months, have a feeling it'll be another 6 to 9 months before this is completed!...
Stewart and Charlene will the best match, both power players!...
Can't wait to read where Charlene will start another relationship... God for is she gets back with Thorne... She needs to be with York or Gaylord (to annoy vesta) or granger (to annoy Thorne)...
I know its ur story and u obviously have ur own plot line and all and have every right to build the story as u like but what writer provide isnt just entertainment, but they shape the narrative of young minds. So I would say that romanticing cheating is, or rather THORNE'S behaviour, wrong for all the reasons..give york a chance ..that will be way more satisfying...again all of this is just my point of view but if charlene and thorne get back together, its not the story im looking for...
Hey...please dont ever make Charlene and thorne get back together no matter what...he simply doesn't deserve it....no matter the reason or plot twist behind the way he treated his legally wedded wife....whether he actually slept with vesta or not....just his emotional cheating...not repecting his spouse....not caring enough to actually get to know the person his wife was....and actually distancing his child from her mother and encouraging her to bond with the mistress are all the biggest RED FLAGS... when a person enters a contract....he must uphold it no questions asked...its not like if ur partner isnt good enough, ur allowed to cheat..allowed to let a 3rd person in-between....if ur not satisfied with ur partner then u can get a divorce...whats the point of all the wealth, power and brilliance of mind when the ML cant even get his head around this simple fact...So, its fine it he regrets, but charlene shouldn't be with him in any case.....
Enough already. This novel is dragging slowly. Updated with 2 chapters only. REALLY!!! Whoever the author or authors of this novel why is there a delay in penning more chapters? Here’s my question. In reading the comments from others does their opinions matters and/or make a difference? Are comments being monitored? Or is it only a tool allowing readers to blow off steam?...
