The crowd went wild with cheers, but Kaia’s mind went completely blank.

Was it really her that Lucien was talking about? She was his first love when he was twenty–four? Why didn’t she know that?

Lucien smiled, “Sure it is. I asked them to customize it for me a few days ago. It’s got a king–sized sleeping bag!”

It was quite something to have such a huge sleeping bag in a

“Alright, spill the beans. What’s this about your first love?” Kaia demanded, trying to look stern as she pointed at Lucien.

Lucien took her hand and gently sucked on her finger, teasing it with his tongue.

Just that one move was enough to make Kaia’s ears turn red.

“Do you remember that game from your sophomore year summer?” Lucien asked.

Kaia’s eyes widened in shock.

“Are… are you Luika?”

“Yes, silly. It’s a combo of our names. How could you not recognize it?”

As expected, Lucien was firm. “Yes.”

Kaia hugged him tightly and nuzzled his neck. “Why didn’t you tell me? If you had, maybe…”

“Maybe you would have fallen for me first?” Lucien gave a self–deprecating smile. “Kaia, you weren’t even an adult back then. Who knew that the rose I’d been watching for so long would be picked up by someone else in the blink of an eye?”

Just as Allen had said, Lucien lived by strict principles.

she kissed him.

In the tent, the sounds of their passionate embrace were clearly audible, making one blush.

Just as Lucien’s fingers started to touch Kaia’s back, her phone

rang.
