Chapter 372 Clouds of Betrayal
“Ah! Your pants fell again!”
Timothy instinctively reached to pull up his pants, only to realize he had been tricked.
By the time he looked up, Anneliese was already walking toward the private room at the end of the hall.
Melanie also wanted to see the place where Mikita had been fooling around with her husband.
She followed, and Perseus and Christopher, noticing the crowd on the other side of the hall pointing and whispering, just wanted to get out of there.
They quickly went after her.
Timothy hurried along too, shielding the almost–naked Mikita.
Anneliese stepped into the private room and almost gasped. The place was set up to look luxurious and romantic.
Clothes were scattered across the floor. There was a huge swinging chair, candlelight, flowers, wine, and a heavy smell from the aroma oils.
She thought Timothy and Mikita really were a pair of wild lovebirds who only got bolder with
age.
“Ahh! You tramp! Does it feel great stealing someone else’s man?”
Melanie had been exhausted from the fighting, but the moment she saw the scene inside, her eyes went bloodshot and her rage returned. She screamed and lunged at Mikita.
Terrified, Mikita covered her chest with her arms, dodged aside, and ran to the bed. She grabbed the blanket to cover herself and cried.
“Ma’am, please stop hitting me. Timothy and I are truly in love. We were drawn to each other, we couldn’t help it…”
Now that she had been caught, Mikita decided to make a scene.
She had been with Timothy since she was eighteen and had even given him two children, yet Timothy still refused to let her show her face.
She was tired of living in hiding, always kept in the shadows.

She was better than Melanie. Why shouldn’t she be the legal wife?
It would be best if Melanie had some sense, stepped aside, and given her the position.
But before she could finish, Timothy rushed to the bed and spoke in a stern voice.
“Mikita!”

Timothy didn’t want to upset the shaky peace holding things together. White Inc. was already giving him enough trouble. If his family fell apart too, it would be a disaster.
Mikita still feared him. At his shout, she lowered her head and cried.
Even so, Melanie trembled with anger after hearing Mikita’s words.
Timothy went to support her, but Melanie raised her hand and slapped him across the face.
Timothy frowned, the red mark stinging on his cheek.
Mikita gasped, kneeling on the bed as if she wanted to go forward, but Timothy shot her a warning look that made her freeze.
Holding Melanie, Timothy coaxed, “Look at you. Is this really worth getting so upset over? The kids are watching. If you make yourself sick from this, it’s no good. She and I were just messing around, nothing serious. You can trust me, I won’t do it again, alright?”
He spoke softly, trying to calm her, while throwing glances at Perseus and Christopher.
The two caught on and stepped forward.
“Dad, you really don’t know this woman? She seduced you
first?”
“Of course! Honey, believe me. We’ve had three kids together. After all these years, you’re the one I love the most.”
“Dad, tell her to leave right now. Swear to Mom that you won’t mess around anymore.”
Christopher pushed him, and Timothy nodded before turning sharp eyes on Mikita.
“Why are you still here? Get out!”
Mikita was unwilling, but she didn’t dare go against Timothy. She got up and walked toward the dressing room.
In Timothy’s arms, Melanie cried and struggled. She hated him and was furious, but his
