Chapter 109
Troy lay down on the bed, clutching the corner of the blue blanket and inhaling deeply, savoring the scent that was uniquely Teresa’s. It was as if he could never get enough of it.
Teresa frowned. “Troy, my brother’s next door. If I call out, he’ll be here in a flash. You’d better leave the same way you came in, or I’ll report you for trespassing.”

Troy turned to face her, with a flirty smile. “Come on, are you really that cold? Since I’m already here, can’t I at least get a taste of your warmth before I leave?”
His eyes were filled with deep, playful amusement.
The window was still open, and when the chilly late–October night air drifted in, Teresa shivered.

She remembered closing the window before she left that morning, as it had been raining. Troy must have snuck in through the window

Troy always had that reckless, bad boy vibe. His eyes were gorgeous, and he looked at everyone with the same affectionate gaze. Teresa wasn’t fooled, though–she didn’t think he was actually falling for her.
The sheets had just been changed a couple of days ago, still carrying the fresh scent of sunlight mixed with a hint of body wash. Troy felt incredibly comfortable, almost reluctant to leave.
Seeing he wasn’t moving, Teresa got a little annoyed. “Troy, get off my bed. Now.
Troy paused, then shot her a wicked grin. “Hey, I’m just doing what you told me, babe.”

With that, he tossed the blanket aside and slid off the bed, walking toward Teresa. He deliberately unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his ripped, muscular chest, which gleamed in the light with a golden glow.

As he closed in, Teresa stepped back until her leg hit the edge of the dressing table, causing her to lose her balance. She almost fell, but Troy caught her just in time, pulling her into his chest.
Troy inhaled the scent of her shampoo, taking a deep breath as if addicted to it

Teresa instinctively placed her hands between them to prevent direct contact, but her hands ended up resting on his bare chest instead. His laughter deepened. “Enjoying the view, babe? Satisfied with what you’re feeling?”
Teresa’s face flushed bright red, and she hissed at him, “Troy, you jerk, let me go!”
Troy pressed her tighter against him, his grin never fading. “Your waist is so soft, and you smell so damn good. How could I let go?” Teresa reached out with her free hand, pinching, slapping, and pounding on him. “Troy, you pervert. Let go of me right now.” Teresa struggled, pushing against him with all her might, but he was unfazed, like he didn’t even hear her insults.
He easily caught her flailing hands, holding them firmly while staring down at her with a playful grin. “Really, babe? Gonna be this heartless? Not even a little ‘I missed you‘ for me?”
Teresa didn’t answer, just kept struggling.
Troy grinned as he watched her futile attempts to break free.
As she kept struggling, his shirt loosened further, revealing more of his abs. Panicking, Teresa pulled her hands away, and suddenly her body pressed against his bare, muscular torso.
She could feel his body heat, scorching her like a wildfire, making her feel exposed and helpless.
Troy’s eyes darkened with desire, and his breathing became heavier.
Teresa, feeling the heat from his body, pushed against him again. “Troy, let go!”
Troy wasn’t about to let her go that easily. He scooped her up and slung her over his shoulder like she weighed nothing.
Teresa let out a startled yelp the moment he picked her up.

Troy gently laid her back down on the bed. He quickly grabbed her hands again, holding them tightly so she couldn’t escape. She had no choice but to meet his intense gaze.
Troy lowered his head, blocking out all the light behind him. He leaned in, his face lost in shadow, impossible to read, while his ragged breaths filled the silence between them.
Teresa’s heart raced, but she pleaded, “Monica, please don’t tell them. I just want to get some rest. Please.”
Teresa breathed a sigh of relief, but right then, Troy shifted under the covers.
Teresa quickly patted the lump and said, “Just my big stuffed toy, nothing to worry about.”
Monica’s curiosity was piqued even more. “Really? It’s huge–almost like a person.”
“It’s a custom one, made just for me,” Teresa said quickly. “I have to cuddle it at night, otherwise I just can’t sleep.”
Monica nodded, still not quite convinced. “Okay. If you’re really fine, I’ll go back to my room.”
Teresa smiled. “Night, Monica.”
“Night, Aunt Teresa,” Monica replied. After saying goodnight, Monica finally left the room, closing the door behind her. Teresa breathed a sigh of relief, patting her chest and taking deep breaths to calm herself down.
But under the covers, Troy was getting handsy.
Teresa kicked him. “Troy, what are you doing?”
Troy raised his head from under the blanket, looking at her with a teasing grin. “Just enjoying the view.”
Teresa yanked the blanket off, jumped up barefoot, and shot him a furious glare. “You creep, get out–now!”
Seeing Teresa angry, Troy slowly sat up, then moved to the edge of the bed, turning his head to offer her his left cheek. “If you’re mad, just hit me.” He was barely dressed, openly flaunting his body.

Teresa, unable to resist, gave him a playful smack on the cheek.
Troy, far from getting angry, only smiled wider. “You hit me lightly, which means you care about me and don’t want me to get hurt. Since you love me so much, I should spoil you even more.”
