"Is this the girl that hurt my daughter?" A woman stepped forward dressed in a beautiful grey suit. Her dark hair with a few strands of grey fell in waves as she stared at Penny disdainfully.
"She’s the one mother. She’s the one that caused trouble for me." Stacey said calmly pouting her lips like a wronged child.
Oh, Stacey had conveniently forgotten that she was a public figure when she went full WWE on Penny in the middle of the mall. She thought she could throw her fame around and bully the "fat girl." But surprise, surprise, people had phones. People had cameras. And people loved drama.
The fight went viral.
Stacey got cooked online like a cheap roast.
Netizens called her a "pick-me," a "psycho," and even dragged her entire family, calling them thieves living off the city’s money.
Her reputation was in the gutter, even her father did not escape the insults as everyone dug into his past crime calling him out on it.
The internet now saw Penny as the innocent victim of a rich, entitled brat. Everyone wanted an apology, from Stacey.
Stacey will never let it slide. Penny must pay for what she has said, and it must be publicly. That way, she can save her face and career.
If Penny admits that it was all a misunderstanding and that she was the one wrong, people can finally leave them alone. There’s no way, Stacey will apologize to Penny.
Not this product of rape. Penny is beneath her, she would never apologize to her.
Penny was beneath her. She didn’t deserve an apology. She deserved to be humiliated.
"You imbecile," Pauline hissed, her hands curling into fists as she glared at Penny like she wanted to claw her face off. She had half a mind to do it, too. But even that would be a waste of her manicured nails.
This girl wasn’t even pretty. What was the big deal?
Why was everyone backing her up? The world hates ugly people, and then the fat ones were an eyesore.
If only Stacey hadn’t been so stupid...
Pauline was a woman with power, a name to protect. And Penny? According to Stacey, she was a pushover.
An easy target. Her family didn’t even like her, that is why, Pauline had gathered the courage to attack her in her own home today.
"How dare you ruin Stacey’s reputation, Penny!" Ariana snapped, arms folded, voice cold. "Her mother is in politics! We can’t help you this time."
She stood there, looking down her nose like a queen scolding a peasant.
Oh, she was loving this. Finally, her sister would be put in her place.
Ariana had cozied up to Pauline for exactly this reason. Power. Political connections. All to climb the ladder while stepping on Penny’s back.
"What’s going on?" Both Maybelline and Abby walked over with Mack trailing behind them. They had overheard the commotion and decided to come check it out themselves.
