Dr. Pennington wasn’t hungry at first, but now his mouth was watering just looking at it.

Madam Whitman smiled, her eyes crinkling, “Not bad.”

Annelise Caldwell kept busy. After all the dishes were in the pot, she made a few Savory Millet Crepes, sprinkled them with chopped onion, and stuck them to the side of the pot.

Just making Braised Pork Ribs with Potato and Eggplant wasn’t enough. She also sliced some Chilled cabbage slaw, drizzled it with Spicy pepper oil, and the aroma made Blaine Heath keep looking back.

Madam Whitman cooked the shrimp in the end while Annelise prepared the dipping sauce. The table was filled with colorful dishes, looking beautiful, along with freshly steamed Bread Rolls that were still letting off steam.

Dr. Pennington was craving it, but he didn’t dare to pick up his chopsticks.

Madam Whitman said with a laugh, “Go on and eat. Try Annelise’s cooking.”

Both Dr. Pennington and Blaine Heath were eager to start, but Blaine Heath hadn’t forgotten that his young master was sitting next to him. This… the young master had never eaten a communal meal with anyone.

His stomach couldn’t handle eating the same food as others either.

“Young Master, maybe…” Before he could finish.

Adrian Burke Winthrop had already picked up his bamboo chopsticks.

Blaine Heath was a little anxious. What if the young master got acid reflux and a fever again after eating this?

Just then, Annelise brought over a tray. On it were four small saucers of food, all portioned out beforehand, along with the Savory Millet Crepes she had just made and the prepared Creamy Pumpkin Porridge. She pushed it in front of Adrian, “This is yours.”

Adrian looked up at her.

Annelise gestured with her chin, “A six-piece stomach-soothing set. Wait for the porridge to cool down before you drink it. Eat the millet crepes first.”

Blaine Heath marveled at the Miracle Doctor’s thoughtfulness.

As expected of a doctor, she noticed all these things.

Adrian, however, felt she was giving him special treatment. The corners of his mouth curled up in satisfaction, and for the moment, he stopped thinking about what she’d said about “it making no difference to her whether he was a man or a woman.”

Only after everyone was taken care of did Madam Whitman pick up her chopsticks.

The first bite made Dr. Pennington dizzy with how delicious it was.

Originally, Adrian had only planned to take a token bite, since his appetite had always been poor.

When he bit into the millet crepe, his mouth filled with flavor. The chilled cabbage slaw was refreshing and cut through the richness, pairing perfectly with the Braised Pork Ribs.

Without realizing it, he had eaten three Savory Millet Crepes and drunk two bowls of Creamy Pumpkin Porridge.

The reason he didn’t eat a fourth one was because Annelise reached out and stopped him, “Eating until you’re eighty percent full is enough. Don’t eat too much.”

Others could eat more, but he couldn’t?

Adrian raised an eyebrow.

Annelise chuckled lightly, “Go have some tea?”

“Alright.”

Adrian stood up.

Annelise grabbed a handful of Raw Peanuts with Skin for him, “Eat them with the skin on.”
