Giselle felt a little unsettled when she stared at the license plate.

This resort was clearly built for the rich and famous, so it was no surprise that he was here.

Giselle took a deep breath and decided not to run away. She confidently parked her car in the empty spot right next to the Cullinan.

After parking her car, Gideon came up to her. "Let's go inside and eat." He then ordered his assistant to take the two dogs for a walk outside before leading Giselle to the entrance.

The resort was massive, a full-fledged leisure escape. Aside from the main dining hall, there were spacious golf courses, horseback riding trails, lakes, and more. The place felt full of rustic charm, and only the rich or noble could afford to come here.

After entering the dining hall, the couple was led upstairs by a waiter. Since it was just the two of them, Giselle felt that dining together in a private room might be too intimate, so she picked a table by the window, overlooking the lake.

Apart from the fresh and expensive imported seafood, the place was famous for a variety of cuisines and various local specialties. There was something for everyone.

Gideon leaned back in his chair across from her, crossed one leg over the other, and handed her the menu. "Order whatever you want. Don't worry about me. It's my treat."

Giselle wasn't used to him being this polite. She took the menu and started ordering on her own without asking for his opinion once.

He usually did whatever he wanted, wherever he was, regardless of who was around. However, when he glanced at the beautiful woman across from him, he hesitated for a few seconds before tossing the cigarette out the window.

Giselle shot daggers at him. "Have a little decency, will you? Don't litter."
