Donovan had already heard from Ethan that Giselle was out on bail from the lockup.

"Congrats, Giselle," Anne said sarcastically.

She glanced at Gideon and said mockingly to Giselle, "Looks like you've found yourself a new man. At least you're not shamelessly chasing after my fiancé anymore. By the way, I have good news."

She held up a pregnancy report in front of Giselle and sneered. "I'm pregnant with Donovan's child. I really should thank you for kicking him out and calling me over the other night. You gave us the perfect opportunity. We're planning to have the baby first and then get married. I hope you'll attend my wedding, Giselle!"

The news of Anne's pregnancy stunned Giselle. She couldn't help but look at Donovan.

On the other hand, Donovan just turned and walked out the door.

"Bitch, can you just fuck off?" Gideon was already in pain from his hand, and Anne's mockery only added fuel to the fire.

He cursed at her directly, "What the hell does the bastard in your belly have to do with her? I'm warning you. If I ever catch you speaking to her like that again, I swear I'll make you suffer. Get lost!"
