Sadly, Giselle had no money for gas, and she couldn't just borrow money or ask for help from the staff working at the gas station like that. These people could very well be Orin's informant, and they could have tipped her whereabouts off to them at any given time to get her caught.
She was quiet for a while before she realized she had no other way. Since she was fleeing for her life at that moment, she didn't need to be conscious of following through with moral and social etiquette and values.
So, she took out her gun from within her clothes and drove her car to a spot to get her gas filled. As she parked, she wound down her window and Lola, a typical Soutarean woman staff, who was slightly darker-skinned and a little plump, greeted her.
She asked Giselle what type of gas she wanted, but as she saw how filthy Giselle looked and thought she looked like she was fleeing for her life, she couldn't help but be a little curious.
Giselle told Lola very calmly to first fill the tank up entirely.
Lola opened the fuel cap as per usual and inserted the gas gun, and filled up the tank until it was full. Then, she told Giselle to go into the store so she could pay according to the amount given.
However, Giselle didn't budge. Instead, she smiled and gestured for Lola to come nearer.
Lola, who worked on a rostered shift and was already feeling a little tired, still went to Giselle's open car door despite being confused. When she was about to ask Giselle further, suddenly, Giselle pulled out her gun and subtly pointed at Lola's chest while she said in Edavanian, "Stop talking. Do as I say."
Lola's face was ashen with fear as she was held at gunpoint. The gas station she worked at already had fewer employees to begin with, since only one other person was working inside the store. So, she didn't dare to talk any louder.
She could only nod frantically and reply in a low voice, "Okay, y-you can g-go ahead. D-Don't shoot me, don't k-kill me…"
Giselle replied in fluent Edavanian, "Take out your phone and all the money you have on you."
