The next day, Giselle packed two large suitcases and brought Eastin along as she moved into Donovan’s villa to begin her one–month trial. 

she drove to his house in the moming and quickly noticed that the housekeepers and staff were nowhere to be seen. Donovan had most likely given them time off 

in advance. 

Wandering through the massive living room and then around the villa grounds, Giselle realized that a place this lusatious would generally require at least five people to keep it as spotless as it was. 

Between the manicured gardens, the golf course, and the swimming pool, simply maintaining them all would be exhausting for a single person to manage. 

Thankfully, the housekeepers had cleaned the entire property thoroughly before taking leave. Since she’d be the only one living there for now, things wouldn’t get messy too quickly. That meant she wouldn’t have to worry about cleaning, at least for a while. 

She dragged her two heavy suitcases upstairs and walked into Donovan’s master bedroom. 

Giselle sprawled across the king–sized bed, dressed in minimalist, muted bedding. She rolled around lazily, immediately noting how comfortable and stress- relieving the multi–million–dollar mattress wJS 

She had to admit that Donovan knew how to enjoy life. 

Beside the bed, everything in the master bedroom–from decor to lighting–was simple, elegant, and exuded understated luxury. Not a single speckot dust or trace of clutter was visible. 

Even the air in the room felt cleaner.
