Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1048

Patrick was enraged at her reckless tone. He asked infuriately, "Who else do you want to give your wedding ring to?"

Amelia snorted, "Do you really have to ask the obvious? Do I have to say her name out loud? Fine, you don't have to glare at me like this. I'll tell you.

The person I'm referring to is the one that you're willing to give up everything including your life for. Sissi...Roberts...is the one that I'm talking about now! Do I make myself clear enough?"

Patrick remained in silence with his expression darkened. It seemed like the temperature of the surrounding had dropped drastically as a result of the dead silence between them.

At the sight of his clenched fists, Amelia had to admit that it sent a chill down her spine.

However, she knew the way to tackle his anger.

She lifted her chin and said, "Patrick, don't forget that you're now begging for a favor from me. It'd be better for you not to frustrate me. Otherwise, it will look really bad if I misword in front of granny and gramps!

Of course when I said it's going to look bad, I wasn't having us but Sissi in mind. Are you sure that you're willing to let her suffer because of your anger towards me now?"

Patrick clenched his fists infuriatedly. At that very moment, he was not sure whether he was mad at Amelia for threatening him in the name of Sissi or triggered by her ruthless words!

It was at this time that a brief honk nearby had successfully distracted their attention.

Pausing, Amelia was the first one to turn around and look in direction of the honking sound.

All she could see was an ordinary carthat was gradually approaching the parking lot next to their car.

Standing next to her, Patrick reminded coldly, "Owen and Nora are here."

Upon hearing his voice, she replied irritably, "I know! I don't need you to remind me."

Patrick shot a glance at her in rage. If it were not for the presence of his brother and sister-in-law, he swore to himself that he was going to drag her into the car and teach her a lesson!

As soon as Owen and Nora got out of the car, Amelia's gloomy face was instantly replaced with a warm smile.

Seeing that Amelia managed to change her expression in the split of second, Patrick could not help sulking.

Nora who just got out of the car immediately greeted, "Patrick, Amelia, you're early today."

Smiling, Amelia replied, "Of course! Today is a big day for all of us. I can't wait to meet all of you especially granny and gramps. I miss them a lot."

She was not lying though.

In fact, Amelia had indeed missed Granny Hopper who was always kind to her.

As for Gramps Hopper who was narcissistic, Amelia wished that she could stay away from him as far as possible. After all, he was someone who could make Patrick listen to him.

Upon seeing the smile on her face, Patrick could not help recalling her resentful attitude towards his. The thought of this made him feel enraging.

However, the person that she was smiling at was his sister-in-law whom he was supposed to respect after all. Hence, he could only suppress his frustration.

Meanwhile, Owen was carrying his two kids out of the car.

"It's not like this!" Andrew immediately shook his head aggressively. It was not hard to tell that he was desperate to clarify himself from Amelia's misunderstanding.

At the very moment, Ashley stood up to explain for Andrew, "Amelia, I guess you have misunderstood. My brother wasn't having the saliva issue in his

mind. Instead, he was thinking about you kissing him."

"Kissing?" Amelia was taken aback by her words.

"Eh Amelia, don't you know what is kissing?" With that said, Ashley began to mimicked the sound of kissing through kissing the back of her hand hard.

Amelia was speechless. Is she getting old?

She understood that Ashley could be more mature than her peers sometimes. After all, she had been spending most of her time watching romantic movies and TV series.

However, there was another thing that surprised Amelia.

She had never expected that Andrew too would relate eating ice-cream to kissing. After all, Andrew was always a shy and innocent boy in Amelia's eyes.

Seeing that Amelia was studying Andrew, Nora could not help but say, "Amelia, no offence. They can be a handful sometimes. Just think that they are kidding with you. I'm going to teach them a lesson later when we're home!"

Amelia tried to ask her doubt in a more ambiguous and acceptable way, "There's nothing, Nora. I don't mind they joking around me. Andrew seems to know more than I expected these days."

Sighing, Nora explained, "It's hard to keep him away from all this nonsense, not especially he is spending time around his sister."
