Kaiden was triggered by how Amelia called him a kiddo. He abruptly grabbed her hand and dragged it in direction of the crotch of his pants as he defended himself, "The truth is I'm already a grownup man! You can touch and verify this yourself!"

Amelia was taken aback by shock of his sudden movement. Fortunately, she was fast to respond. She dodged away and landed her hand on his thigh before she pinched him with all her strength.

"Holy f*ck!" Kaiden moaned in pain as he let go of her hand. While covering the spot where Amelia had pinched him, he grunted, "What the h*ll are you doing?!"

Amelia glared at him outrageously as she fired back, "I should be the one to ask, what the h*ll are you doing! You're such a perverted b*stard! Don't force me to rip off your d*ck!"

"Weren't you the one who said that I'm a kiddo? The most direct way is to prove to you that I'm a fully grown-up man from my physical aspect. How can you blame me for this?" Kaiden could not help shouting back at Amelia as he rubbed the spot which was aching.

Amelia was even more triggered upon listening to his shameless excuse. She snapped, "Is this even a way to prove yourself? I guess you're more than just a pervert. I should have called the police so that you'll be arrested! I need to keep the society safe from someone like you!"

As the pain in his thighs subsided, Kaiden was not moved by her threaten as he contended, "Go ahead and call the police! By the time comes, I can remove my pants and let the police speak the truth for me!"

With her eyes widened in disbelief, Amelia exclaimed, "Are you mad? Are you sure that you want to show the police your private part?"

Kaiden blasted, "No! I want to show them what you had done to me! I'm certain of a fact that there's a bruise on my thigh by now!"

Amelia shot back fearlessly, "So what? You got a bruise because you were trying to harass me! What I did to you is to be regarded as self-defense in law! The police is not a fool to trust your version of story!"

Kaiden blurted out, "I'm a good-looking man while you have such a bad reputation out there. There is no doubt that the police is going to think that you're the one who harassed me!"

As soon as he finished his sentence, Kaiden realized that Amelia's expression had darkened.

The more ridiculous thing was, Kaiden was actually speaking the truth. As Amelia thought about her reputation at that moment, she thought that it might be real that no one was going to believe her.

"Who was the one that caused it?" Amelia turned around and looked at Kaiden in his eyes. Kaiden was overwhelmed by a surge of stabbing pain in his heart as soon as he met her teary eyes. She uttered finally, "It's you! You're the one, Kaiden!"

As soon as Amelia got out of the car, she slammed the door shut forcibly as if it was not her own car. All she had in mind was to get rid of Kaiden as soon as possible. Without turning back, she marched into the office building.

Kaiden was left behind in the car and he sulked when he saw her left. The truth was, he had never meant to humiliate her. Unfortunately, it turned out that it was exactly the most forbidden thing that one should not bring up in front of her. It seemed like he had learnt his lesson today!

However, Kaiden had to admit that he was not feeling any better after being insulted by Amelia repeatedly. It was not that he had never thought of giving up. Nonetheless, he could not overlook the guilt and damage he had caused. He could not bear to have Amelia and her child being bullied by others in future.

Kaiden began to drive the car to the basement parking lot after convincing himself that he was not going to quit regardless.

Kaiden could not help but sneeze all in a sudden when he got out of the carpark.

He rubbed his nose to get rid of the itch and just as he was about to put down his hand, his gaze fell onto the car key in his hand.

After much consideration, he decided that he would not bring to key to Amelia at this moment. In fact, he planned to have her call him again after work as soon as she realized that the car key was not with her. In that case, he could take the chance to drive her home.

It was at this moment that his phone in the pocket began ringing. He took out and had a look at the screen. It was only then his eyes widened in joy at the sight of it. He thought that she must have thought of him just when he was having her in his mind.

However, he soon realized that Amelia was probably calling to ask for the car key. At the thought of this, he began to think that it would be best to ignore her call.

Nevertheless, the name of Amelia on the phone display was akin drugs that lured him into answering the call. Eventually, he could not help but to swipe right to answer her call.

"Kaiden, come to my office right now!"

Amelia's voice from the other end of the call immediately put a smile on his face. Despite knowing that Amelia was ordering him in an uncourteous manner, he could not help feeling overjoyed still.

Kaiden took a deep breath to calm himself down before he said, "I'll be there shortly. Wait for me..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Amelia had already hung up the call.

Kaiden had no other choice but to put down his phone gloomily. He sulked at the fact that Amelia had not even responded him back before she ended the call without hesitation.

"President Ramsay, ouch! No, it's too pain for me. Can you please reduce the pressure a little?"

"You're going to suffer from greater pain if I don't apply great force at all. Please bear with me for awhile. You're going to be okay."
