Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1265

"Wait a minute!" As soon as Amelia heard that Patrick was about to take Kayla away, she quickly covered her phone and turned towards them. She impatiently persuaded, 'TH be done soon!"

"Then please hurry up." Patrick pressured her with a frown.

"Shawn..." Amelia turned her head and said to the other party, "I'll meet you at noon tomorrow." Then, Amelia hurriedly hung up.

TH meet you at noon tomorrow?!

Unfortunately, Patrick could even hear the sound of him grinding his own teeth!

Amelia slipped her phone into her bag, turned around, and dutifully informed Patrick and Kayla, "I'm done."

Contrary to her initial worry, there was finally a hint of a smile on her face.

When Patrick caught sight of her relieved look, it was as piercing to him as it could be. Was Shawn that important to her?

If he wanted Amelia to answer, she would definitely defend herself and say that her care towards Shawn were merely her 'responsibilities'.

In this world, love and affection were not the only things required to maintain a relationship between men and women. It is such a pity that Patrick's view of relationships was too narrow.

Or, because of the betrayal that Patrick had suffered once, that his emotional capability narrowed and was restricted even more. There could only be one relationship between "him" and "her". There was no room for anyone else.

Therefore, when Patrick became Amelia's ex-husband, this signified that the he' in this relationship had become vacant.

What was more, in Amelia's life, there were so many young bachelors surrounding her. According to Patrick, they were very likely to fill that vacancy; and that was precisely why he treated them with much hostility.

Kayla noticed that Patrick had become slightly absent-minded, she asked carefully, "Patrick, didn't you mention that you couldn't wait any longer? President Ramsay had already finished her call. Shouldn't we be leaving now?"

Patrick recollected his thoughts and agreed, "Yes, let's go now."

Amelia watched as Kayla and Patrick walked side by side. She slowed down deliberately and followed them quietly behind.

Kayla had studied overboard, and so had Patrick. Therefore, in this respect, the two of them seemed to have endless topics to discuss about, and Amelia became invisible for a moment...

Only Patrick knew that most of his attention had been stolen by the petite woman behind him, up to the extent that he made some verbal errors while talking to Kayla.

At Silver Throne Restaurant.

"Sir, Miss, may I ask how many people are we expecting?"

"There's three of us."

"Please come in."

The waiter led Amelia, Patrick, and Kayla to a fourseater and invited respectfully, "Please sit."

Patrick glanced at Amelia and intended for her to pick a seat first so that he could pretend and unintentionally sit beside her.

Nevertheless, Amelia opened her mouth first.

"Miss. Elliott, please."

"Of course." Kayla sweetly smiled and sat at the inner part of the left row, leaving an empty seat beside her.

"Mr. Hopper, please." Amelia then said to Patrick.

Patrick was angry, but he could only sit in the seat next to Kayla.

Sitting directly opposite to him and Kayla, Amelia signaled as a hostess, "Waiter, can we have the menu?"

Amelia glanced at the menu subconsciously. After discovering the ramen option on the menu, she answered as if she had been saved, "I'll have their in-house ramen."

Patrick's expression shifted slightly.

Kayla was shocked. "Oh? Your dish is the same as Patrick's!"

Amelia was stunned. "Huh?"

"Patrick chose ramen too." Kayla placed her hands on her cheeks and looked at them sadly. "If I had known that you wouldn't order sushi, I wouldn't have brought the both of you to Silver Throne. It's so boring for me to eat alone."

Amelia consoled, "I'm sorry, Ms. Elliott. I didn't mean to disappoint you."

"It's okay, that's alright. I didn't think about it thoroughly, but instead asked you to accommodate me." Kayla blamed herself.

At this time, Patrick looked at Amelia and was secretly puzzled. He remembered that she loved having sushi. Why did not she order anything today?

Since she was paying for their meal, and since Silver Throne is a famous Japanese Restaurant in Northville, was Amelia worried that she would bleed her wallet dry?

After thinking about it, this seemed to be the only possibility to Patrick.

As he pondered, Patrick suddenly changed his mind and interrupted, "Ms. Elliott, I seem to notice that there is a exorbitant amount of sashimi platters that are being introduced here. Did I see it correctly?"

Kayla looked at the menu again and nodded her head, she said, "But these are very expensive! If you have no appetite for the sashimi, I think that you should order something else."

"Who says I'm not interested? I ordered ramen as an appetizer. Sashimi is the real meal." Patrick glanced at Amelia arrogantly, "What do you think, President Ramsay?"

Amelia flipped opened the menu and the corner of her eyes could not help but twitch. What Patrick mentioned about the sashimi platters was a platter for ten, containing salmon, tuna, and all the seafood one can think of. The total price of the meal was 6999 dollars.
