Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1275

At this time, Amelia added, "Oh, by the way, since the shells of the lobsters and crabs are so hard to peel, could you just stand here and help us peel away the shells when the food is served? I just got my nails done too."

The waitress answered, "Oh! We have someone who specializes in this kind of work. I shall call them over later and let them serve the both of you."

"What I meant was, I want you to do it," Amelia countered with a smile.

"Me?" The waitress was stunned and apologized, "Sorry madam, but I don't know how!"

"It doesn't matter. I'm more familiar with you and I like you a lot too." Amelia cooed as she glanced at Patrick, and then asked him with a smile, "Mr. Hopper, you won't refuse this small request of mine, would you?"

Unconsciously, Patrick's favorite look of Amelia was whenever she smiled at him, regardless whether it was just a facade or out of true sincerity. This was still better than her frowns.

"Well then, you shall serve us." Though Patrick looked at the waitress indifferently, but his imposing aura was unyielding.

It was at this moment that the waitress knew that she had no room to negotiate. "Yes," she reluctantly agreed, her dissatisfaction with Amelia's pettiness was almost revealed.

As soon as the door closed behind her, Amelia immediately slipped out of Patrick's palm that was rested on her waist. She fished out her mobile phone and contacted Audrey and Shawn through Whatsapp.

Patrick had already suspected that she had her secret motives!

Just a few seconds ago Amelia was smiling so warmly at him, yet now she acted as if she did not know him at all. How despicable!

Patrick ratted on the table with his finger and tried to hint her patiently, "I invited you here for dinner, not for you to be on Whatsapp."

Amelia glanced at him, "I know. You asked me to have dinner with you. Am I not here in person already? I should be free to do whatever I want after this, am I right?"

Patrick pursed his lips, "And what if I don't let you?" "Then you'd better find something more interesting than Whatsapp for me to gauge my interest."

Amelia answered with a smile.

Then, Patrick informed her of his plan, "If you get off your phone now, I will avenge you and play along with your revenge on that waitress who stared at you once just now."

"Wrong, she stared at me twice." Amelia clearly remembered this fact.

"No matter what, as long as you give me your full attention, I'll definitely please you." Patrick promised.

"Deal!" Amelia smiled and put her phone aside.

The waitress, who had intentionally or otherwise provoked Amelia, served them the dishes one after another. As she was about to peel the shells off the crustaceans with a specialized tool, Patrick's unsympathetic command for her to peel them with her hands instead momentarily caught her off guard.

It was obvious through Patrick's expression that he wasn't joking. The waitress swallowed a mouthful of saliva before turning around to disinfect both her hands. She accepted her fate and began serving Patrick and Amelia.

This time, the waitress was in deep trouble. The shell of the lobsters and crabs were extremely

hard, and the waitress had never learned how to peel them before. The whole process had caused her nails to bleed. The shrimp and crab meat were also destroyed by her unprofessional methods of peeling, causing both Patrick and Amelia to lose their appetite.

Under the desperate gaze of the waitress, Patrick looked at the shredded meat on the plate and asked expressionlessly, "Hey, did I order this pile of sh*tty meat? Throw it away and call your manager over here. I want him to compensate for my loss."

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry, Mr. Hopper! I didn't mean to do this. Please don't call my manager over, or I'll really lose my job!" The waitress directly ignored her hurting fingers as she frivolously bowed and almost kneeled down to Patrick in apology.

"What do you think?" Patrick promptly looked at Amelia and waited for her decision.

Patrick shot her a sideways glance and snorted, "I think you've already asked me this question more than once?"

Did she really not trust him that much? It must be made known that whenever it was a request from Amelia, Patrick may fooled around, but he had never went back on his word before.

Amelia continued to voice out worriedly, "I really hope that you won't change your mind, because this is very important to me. By the way..." She suddenly remembered something and asked, "If you help me, what will your family say?"

"They still don't know about it."

"Really? Then when are you planning to tell them?"

"I'll just let nature take its course."

"If your mother knows, she wouldn't allow you to." Amelia's words were full of hints.

Patrick secretly laughed. "Then I just won't tell her."

Amelia momentarily blushed as Patrick stared at her. With some embarrassment, she replied: "Well, thank you."

He looked at her and asked playfully, "If it's done, you'll owe me two favors now. How do you intend to repay me?"

Amelia was shocked and panicky asked, "Since when did I owe you two favors?"

Patrick raised his brows. "The first was when I saved you from Mr. Quade, while the second was when I helped you get out of Mr. Quade's clutches. President Ramsay, you always had a reputation of being a woman of your word, so you would repay me, right?"
