Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1384

Amelia, who pretended to be asleep, felt sorry for Patrick's foolishness. But, she was also touched by his action at the same time.

He loved the child so much, but she still had yet to personally tell him that she was pregnant.

The next morning.

Amelia woke up with warmth on her wet lips. She then heaved a groan.

Patrick was holding her in his arms.

He raised her head with one hand and held her waist with the other. He then kissed her on her lips gently, which caused her heart to hammer in her chest.

Her soft moan immediately attracted Patrick's attention, but he continued to kiss her and asked, "Are you awake?"

Amelia blinked as a response to his question. Then, she shut her eyes and enjoyed the morning kiss.

To a surprise, she was not pushing Patrick away?

Patrick's heart trembled slightly at this thought.

Because Amelia had always turned Patrick down, he might have forgotten that he was charming. It was normal for Amelia to accept his kiss since they had patched up their relationship.

Besides, Amelia knew that Patrick would not do anything to her after she happened to catch him secretly kissing her stomach while she was sleeping. He would be reluctant to hurt the child.

The thought of his action jolted her heart again.

Amelia secretly heaved a sigh.

Then, someone knocked on the door. Amelia came to her senses and patted Patrick's face gently. She blushed and urged, "Someone is at the door. Go and open the door."

"Just ignore it," replied Patrick as he stared at Amelia's cherry blossom pink lips. He realized that he would never have enough of her. Besides, it would be awkward to let others see him in this state.

Amelia realized that it was inconvenient for Patrick to go and open the door. She knew that Mr.

Hopper cared about his reputation, so she said, "Then I'll go and open the door, okay?"

"No way!" Patrick said without hesitation. He would never let others see her enchanting morning look.

"Why not?" Amelia was puzzled as she thought, "Am I that unpresentable?"

"Nothing. Just wrap yourself up with the blanket," replied Patrick as he tucked her in. Then, he got out of bed and walked slowly towards the door. He opened the door with an icy look.

It was Wayne outside the room. He had come with a dining trolley and waved to Patrick with a grin, "Good morning, Bro Patrick!"

Patrick could not help raising his eyebrows and asked, "Why are you here today?"

"Mr. Patrick, you must have forgotten about asking me to book flight tickets for you yesterday. I'm here to inform you about the departure time, and I happened to meet the guard who was sending you meals. So, I brought the dining trolley here," Wayne replied.

"What time is the flight?" Patrick lowered his voice and asked.

"The earliest flight is at ten-thirty in the morning. Mr. Patrick and Ms. Ramsay can leave for the airport right after the two of you finish breakfast," responded Wayne with confidence as if he was waiting for praise from Patrick for his efficiency.

However, Patrick was furious upon hearing him.

He was so mad that he pushed Wayne out of the door. They hit the dining trolley on the way out, which clatter attracted Amelia's attention. She removed the quilt and cast a glance in the direction

Patrick was too lazy to further explain. He then decided that he should just go back to Northville since the tickets were already booked.

Patrick and Amelia had gone through their share of trials and tribulations, and Patrick believed they could survive every obstacle together!

At Florence, in the airport.

Amelia wore a pretty dress and a blue belt that outlined her slender waist. Although she was curvaceous, the belt earned a frown from Patrick.

With Richard's thoughtfulness, he walked up to Patrick and asked with concern, "Bro Patrick, why do you look so under the weather today? Are you not feeling well?"

As he spoke, Richard stole a glance at Patrick's back.

Patrick glanced at Richard's baby face and replied indifferently, "I'm fine. Keep on guarding."

"Yes." Richard then continued to look around and ensure their safety. He did not ask Patrick any more questions as he knew that Patrick would not give him proper answers.

In the end, Patrick could not bear it and turned his head to smile at Amelia beside him. He asked, "Mrs. Hopper, can you take off your belt?" Amelia looked at him inexplicably, as if she was asking his reason for her to take off the belt.

Patrick continued with a serious tone, "The belt is way too tight around your waist. I'm worried that you'll get out of breath."

Was he worried that the baby would feel out of breath because of the belt?

Amelia looked at him with amusement. It seemed to her that he cared a lot about her. Besides stopping her from drinking wine and tea, even an accessory worried him. What was next? Amelia secretly looked forward to it.

Patrick feared that Amelia was unconvinced, so he tried to sweet-talk her by adding, "Mrs. Hopper, you already have a thin waist. It's unnecessary for you to wear a belt, isn't it?"
