Although Patrick claimed that the belt was unnecessary, his eyes remained glued to Amelia.

After all, he loved the way she dressed. Amelia was deeply moved as she knew that the reason Patrick stopped her from wearing the belt was for the baby's sake.

"Mrs. Hopper..." said Patrick as he looked at Amelia motionlessly. When he was about to further persuade her, she stood on her tiptoes and kissed him on the lips.

It was hard to explain why she wanted to kiss him. It was probably because of his foolishness. How could Amelia be so dumb to tie the belt so tight while the fetus was in a delicate condition? The usually fearless Patrick seemed to be getting paranoid.

Patrick's mind went blank when her delicate face approached him. They were so close to each other that Patrick could see her eyelashes clearly. "Mrs. Hopper just kissed me in public!" Patrick thought to himself, he was over the moon about it.

He had always been the one who took the initiative, and Amelia would only accept his affection when he seduced, coaxed, or intimidated her. Hence, he was pleasantly surprised at her kiss when he did not do anything flirty or give her any kind of hint.

Without a second thought, Patrick held her waist and lifted her into the air so that it was easier for her to reach him. He then kept himself calm while they kissed as he did not want to freak her out.

Patrick's subordinates looked at each other after they noticed what Patrick was doing with Amelia. Reasonably, they all envied the couple.

Even Richard blushed when they kissed, not to mention Wayne with his a glib-tongue. Richard then even started to consider finding himself a girlfriend.

Little to their notice, there was a man who were on the third floor of the airport secretly watching their every move.

His face turned gloomy when he saw Patrick with dozens of guards surrounding him.

The man glanced around icily. Then, he noticed a lady with her body leaning against Patrick's intimately. He could also witness how the woman flirted with Patrick so passionately.

The man narrowed his eyes. He clearly remembered how serious her expression was when she talked to him a few days ago. She seemed to have transformed into a different person in front of Patrick.

He was surprised to find that she had a shy and beaming side to her.

He had always thought she was frigid and cold.

At the same time, another man who was blinded in one eye, limped towards the man. He lowered his voice and said, "Sir, I didn't expect Patrick Hopper and his men to be here. Can this be a mere coincidence?"

What the man said did not matter to Sawyer. Sawyer came back to his senses and said, "Send someone to investigate about it. I'll stay here."

"I've just sent a few men to check it out. I believe there'll be an answer soon."

Soon, a regular-looking guy quietly walked up to Sawyer and Brayden.

The guy stared at the floor and said robotically, "Mr. Quartley, Mr. Hopper and his men are taking the same flight as us."

"Hmm. I know." responded Sawyer calmly without any feelings of grievances or resentment. Brayden admired his steadiness, but he also felt depressed at the same time. Brayden hoped that they could take revenge on the Hopper brothers soon!

Sawyer might have turned his nose up at Brayden if he knew what Brayden was thinking, for Sawyer held a deep grudge against the Hopper brothers.

Patrick had given Sawyer a lot of trouble in business ever since Patrick had a feud with Sissi and Owen had always been watching over his illegal firearms and drug trades. Sawyer might have been down and out or even thrown in jail if he had not worked his way around every tight corner.

This was also the reason why Sawyer chose to be an investor. Technically, Sawyer did not own any company as his capital was all bound to other

companies. This way, if Patrick and Owen Hopper wanted to bring him down, they would also cross other people. It had saved Sawyer a lot of trouble.

Even Amelia, Patrick's wife had become the key person in Sawyer's planning.

As long as he knew how to make good use of Amelia, the Hopper brothers would think twice before they took any action on him.

"Sir, what are we going to do next?" Brayden seized the chance to ask Sawyer before Patrick and Amelia walked out of his sight.
