Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1387

Amelia and Patrick shared the same thought.

He was treating and protecting her like she was a precious treasure. So, how would he dare to do anything to her?

"How can you still flirt with me when you know I can't do anything to you? You're so mean!"

Mr. Patrick panted beside her, and he sounded both angered and lustful at the same time. He was so charming that Amelia blushed up to her ears.

Wayne, who was sitting next to them, turned to look at Richard after he saw the lovey-dovey couple. "Look, Bro Richard. Mr. Patrick and Amelia are so clingy to each other. I'm so envious of them.

I hope we can end up like them too," Wayne clicked his tongue and said.

Richard got goosebumps at Wayne's words. He would have requested to switch seats if the plane had not taken off!

Wayne was puzzled at Richard's face turning livid. Wayne then rubbed his chin and asked, "You d*rk. Why are you ignoring me when I'm talking to you?"

Richard kept silent for a while, then he murmured dazedly, "I... I'm not a gay."

Wayne knew that Richard must have misunderstood him.

Instead of making an explanation for himself, Wayne inched closer to Richard with a desiring look in his eyes, which made Richard wish he could break the window next to him and jump out of it.

Mr. Patrick turned around after he heard the commotion from behind, then he saw that Wayne was messing around with Richard.

Patrick frowned and scolded in a low voice, "Wayne! What are you two doing?"

Richard heaved a sigh of relief when Wayne stopped approaching him. Wayne then turned towards Patrick and asked, "Hey, Mr. Patrick. Aren't you in the middle of something? I'm surprised that noticed what's going on back here."

Amelia's face flushed upon hearing Wayne.

Patrick could not help but glare at Wayne and refuted, "I'm just horsing around with Amelia."

He did want to do 'something' with her, since it was not the right time and place!

"Oh, then I'm just horsing around with Richard too!" Wayne replied. After that, Wayne glanced at Richard and expressed in an innocent tone, "Am I right, Richard?"

Richard hardly dared to deny Wayne. Wayne was entrapping him, so Richard had no choice but to stammer, "Y... Yes."

Patrick knew that Wayne must be bullying the innocent Richard, so it was unfair of him to scold Richard, who did not do anything wrong. Besides, Patrick had to focus on prenatal education to be a positive role model for the baby.

So, Patrick said, "Don't forget to stay focused on your duty!"

"Yes, Bro Patrick! Whoever dares to hurt you and Amelia, they'll have to deal with me first!" Wayne chuckled and added with a hint of threat in his voice.

Richard nodded, then discreetly distanced himself from Wayne with his arms.

Meanwhile, the rest of the guards sat up straight and focused on guarding Patrick and Amelia.

Patrick scanned around to make sure everything was on track, then turned to look back at Amelia.

Amelia stopped bickering with him as she felt hopeful and fearful about her return to Northville.

Although it was simple and relieving for him to do so, they would only gain hatred from Pablo's parents, which might bring trouble to them in the future.

Fortunately, Patrick chose to follow the righteous path, which meant there was no chance for Pablo's parents to mess with them.

Time passed, and the sky slowly dimmed to a shade of golden-yellow.

Amelia leaned against Patrick and slept after she had her meal.

Then, she found that Patrick always had his eyes open every time she woke up.

Finally, she poked him and asked, "Why don't you just take a nap?"

It took about nine to ten hours to reach Northville. Did he not feel sleepy after getting up so early in the morning?

Patrick was obsessed by the dazed look on Amelia's face when she woke up. He pulled her tightly in his arms and said with his thin lips against her forehead, "Get more sleep. I'm not sleepy."

"Oh." Amelia did not know what else to say. So, she buried her face in his arms and sniffed. After that, she nerved herself and said, "Patrick, I know the reason why you drank coffee. You did it so you can stay awake and protect me. But, I feel a little sorry for that."

Feel sorry?

Patrick's heart shuddered. He lifted Amelia's chin with his fingers and stared at her flushed face. "Mrs. Hopper, are you worried about me?"

"Yes, I worry about you." answered Amelia frankly. Then, she pushed his hand away and rested her head on his chest again. "So, I'm not going to go back to sleep. I'll accompany you."
