Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1428

Sawyer asked a question in response, "Ms. Amelia, are you going back on your word so quickly?"

A thought flashed across Amelia's eyes. "Okay. Let's settle everything today."

"I knew you're such a straightforward person. I'll send a car to pick you up right now." Sawyer had already planned out everything.

Amelia raised an eyebrow. "Don't bother. I'm fine."

Sawyer responded softly but persistently, "Ms. Amelia, you don't have to be so polite with me. You're pregnant. If anything happens to you, I'll feel guilty."

The corners of Amelia's mouth twitched, she then thought to herself, "You're a drug dealer, so do you even have a conscience?"

After the call ended, Amelia called Patrick and reported her trip to him.

Frankly speaking, she was worried Patrick would disagree with her decision. But even so, she did not want to hide anything from him.

After a long moment of silence, Patrick's voice sounded from the other end of the line, "Mrs. Hopper, I agree with you." "Really?" Amelia was taken by surprise, as she had expected Patrick to refuse fiercely.

"You're right. We can only solve this in person. However, I'll worry if you go alone. Let Wayne and Richard go with you. Is that okay?"

Patrick was domineering and at the same time giving his suggestions to Amelia tactfully. It would not only guarantee her safety but also would not make her feel overwhelming.

When Amelia heard him, warmth spread across Amelia's heart. "Of course. It's just that I'll have to trouble them again."

After the matter was finalized, Amelia hung up the call with peace of mind. She then headed upstairs and changed appropriately.

Not long after, Wayne and Richard rang the doorbell. Amelia invited them into the house for tea.

After a while longer, the maid came to inform her that Sawyer's car had arrived at the entrance. It was likely that it was the nearest car from them that was available.

Amelia straightened up and nodded at Wayne and Richard, who was sitting on the other sofa. "Let's go. Sawyer's car has come to pick us up." "Okay!" Wayne stood up and looked as if he was ready for a fight.

Even Richard's babyface which did not match his actual age, showed a murderous look.

Amelia stared at them and said, "Stop. We're going there to apologize, not to a fight. Can you two drop the act?"

Wayne brushed his nose like a ruffian and replied, "Hehe, I'm sorry, Amelia. This is our nature. It's all Sawyer's fault!"

"That's right," Richard was also pulling a long face. "Sawyer is up to no good. We wanted to kill him a long time ago to vent Patrick's resentment!"

Amelia's curiosity was piqued as she asked, "Did you want to kill Sawyer because he snatched Patrick's first love from him?"

Wayne admitted without an ounce of hesitation, "That's right!"

Richard's brows creased slightly, then he yelled out, "Wayne!" What an idiot!

Amelia closed her eyes and said sternly, "I don't know what impression you two have on Sissi. But in short, she belongs in Patrick's past. So, please don't use the idea of revenge and indirectly recall their past relationship. That puts me in a weird position and headspace, do you understand?"

When Amelia said this, Wayne and Richard could both feel her imposing aura, which

completely convinced them.

Richard quickly came to his senses and responded sincerely, "Amelia, I understand! You're Patrick's one true love. We won't make any trouble for Sawyer as long as you're safe. Don't worry!"

Amelia could not help but glance at Wayne. To be honest, she felt the same way as Wayne every time she visited this place.

After entering one of the villas, Amelia and the rest were arranged into seating at a long European-style dining table. Not surprisingly, Wayne complained again, "Is this how you treat your guests? Oh, just present some hasty dishes on the table. Why not? Where's your master?"

Simon answered politely, "Sir, our master didn't intend for the remiss. He has other things to attend to and can't come to the dinner. Please forgive him."

Amelia had a good impression of Simon, so she did not want Wayne to pick on him too much. "Wayne, it doesn't matter. Let's eat first."

But then Simon added, "Ms. Amelia, our master has prepared some food and wine for you in another villa. I hope you can follow me there."

Amelia was taken aback.

Wayne raised his brow unhappily and said, "You mean to say you want us to stay here as you take her away?"

Richard, who had been quiet all this while chimed in, "Sir, our master has told us that we'll have to be around where Miss

Amelia Ramsay goes."

Simon muttered, "Um..." He did not know why Sawyer had arranged another dinner for Amelia either. But since it was an order, Simon had no choice but to follow.

After some consideration, Amelia suddenly decided, "If that's the case, Simon, please lead the way."

Simon immediately lit up with

relief. "Sure! Ms. Amelia, please come with me!“
