"Brittany, don't worry. Things have come to this point where Amelia doesn't have a path of retreat," said Kaleb confidently.

Brittany thought for a moment and realized that Kaleb was right. No matter how capable Amelia was, she would not be able to rewrite history. There could only be one truth. And Brittany was the true princess, so why would she be afraid of Amelia?

At the thought of this, Brittany immediately felt that she had made a great success. It was fine although she failed to achieve the final purpose!

She had first revealed Amelia's identity in front of the company's managers, then watched Amelia as she suffered a great blow. Finally, she gave Alice an unforgettable lesson. That was satisfying!

Ever since Amelia married Patrick, Brittany had always felt that she had been living unhappily.

Everyone had always said that even if she had married Daniel, who was young and successful, she would still lose to her elder sister for Amelia had married the most prestigious family in Northville.

Others even sneered behind Brittany's back, saying she found herself a man abandoned by her sister!

The most annoying thing was that her marriage life seemed to be cursed to be a huge mess.

Brittany gathered her thoughts and stood up. "All right, then let's head back first. I'll let Amelia have it easy for another two days."

Kaleb, however said, "Brittany, I would rather... go back to the company later and stir up the mess!"

Brittany stopped in her tracks and turned to look at Kaleb. "Uncle Kaleb, are you saying...?"

Kaleb smiled. "This is the best time to strike down Amelia's prestige. Do you want to miss such an opportunity, Brittany?"

Brittany replied automatically, "Of course not!"

"Very well." Kaleb nodded. He straightened his back and walked towards Brittany. "Let's have breakfast first. We'll make a big fuss about it in Apex Construction Corporation after that and catch Amelia off guard!"

Brittany clapped her hands excitedly. "Yes, Uncle Kaleb!"

When the two left, neither of them cast a glance at their beloved family member. Naturally, they did not notice when George's facial muscles slightly twitched.

On the other side, Amelia and Alice finally felt better after the knot in their hearts was detangled.

Amelia raised her head from the side of Alice's neck and said sincerely, "Aunt Alice, thank you for what you've done for my mom over the years. I'm so sorry."

"Silly girl, I did all of that willingly. If I didn't, no one could force me." Alice seemed to not feel burdened in the slightest.

During all these years, Alice had received a lot of cynism since she married into the Ramsay family with Brittany and lived with George. After all, a 'mistress' was not welcomed in any circumstances. However, those in the upper class were good at improvising, and Alice was happy to play dumb, dealing with people with hypocrisy.

Alice had said it lightly, but Amelia knew how much pressure from the public Alice was shouldering!

"Amelia," Alice said gloomily. "You don't plan to go home?"

Amelia knew that Alice was referring to the Ramsay family's residence, but at this time, she could not think of a reason to go back.

Even if she did head back, she would only attract Brittany's hateful glares.

Alice was caught speechless.

Patrick continued, "You may not know that this morning, Brittany had already ganged up with Kaleb and Derrick. They barged into the meeting of Apex Construction Corporation and revealed Amelia's identity to all the managers and executives. I'm afraid that this matter has spread throughout the company. No matter the Ramsay family's residence or the Apex Construction Corporation, there's no place for Amelia now."
