Amelia slapped his hand away and said fundamentally, "Come on, I know well that you're a clean freak. You must have washed your hands for countless times. Let me see! Your skin has even turned red after the rubbing..."
After being exposed by her, Patrick stopped with the tease. He shoved Sierra into her arms and got back to his serious self, "Well, you hold her and sleep for a while. I'll go down to make breakfast."
Amelia subconsciously held his neck to make him stay, "It's still early, why don't you have more sleep?"
Patrick stooped down to let her hold onto him. "Never mind. There's only a short time left as well."
Amelia said caringly, "Why don't you sleep while I'll make breakfast?"
"Nah. It's already hard enough for you to take care of two little fellows." Patrick's eyes were filled with care.
"All right." Amelia retracted her hand and said lovingly, "Thank you for your hard work."
"It's not hard." Patrick had never felt that making breakfast for her was a hard thing. Instead, he would feel accomplished watching her eat the food he cooked.
"Ya ya!" As soon as Patrick closed the door, Sierra started to play with Amelia's hair happily.
Amelia simply brushed her eyes with the tip of her hair as she saw this. The little fellow giggled for a while and then she slowly closed her eyes. After a while, she fell asleep.
Amelia touched her buttock through her sleeping pants. After confirming that she had put on her diaper, she got back to sleep again while holding onto her.
It was eight o'clock when she woke up again.
Amelia subconsciously took out her phone and called Jessica.
At Streams Villa.
When the phone rang, Jessica woke up, feeling hungry and thirsty. She picked up the phone tiredly. "Hello..."
"Jessica, are you alright?"
Jessica subconsciously looked at the surroundings and said dishonestly, "I'm fine. What about Sierra, is she all right?" "She's fine. I just want to ask if she still needs to
take any medicine for the time being? You may tell me now so I can go to your house to get it today."
Amelia and Jessica used to be roommates. Although she no longer rented the house, she believed that the management would still take her in to take something as long as she asked.
"Sierra is indeed taking some medicine for better health. I was in a hurry yesterday, so I haven't to told you about it. Well, you may head to my house, and Sierra's medicine is placed in, um... in the first drawer of my room. You just need to feed her once a day." As Jessica said it, she suddenly felt fortunate that she had fed Sierra the medicine the previous day before she left. Otherwise, she would have been a poor mother.
"Okay, I got it. I'll go after feeding Sierra breakfast." In the end, Amelia said softly, "Jessica, when are you coming back? I'm afraid that I can't take good care of Sierra..."
Jessica's breathing stopped. "Amelia, I beg for your sympathy. I've endured the pain of losing my son for so many years and finally found the culprit. Do you want me to go back without accomplishment?"
"No!" Amelia quickly explained, "I mean... Sierra is in need of you as well. Do you want to listen to her voice, or should you make a video call right now?"
Jessica closed her slightly red eyes hard and answered with sobs. "There's no need! I trust that you could take good care of her. I can't hear her voice now, or I might not be able to hold it..."
"Alright." Amelia sighed in her heart. She had wanted to make Jessica return as soon as possible by mentioning Sierra. But it did not seem to work well.
At the moment, she actually hoped that Sierra could scream or cry loudly. So that Jessica would mistakenly think that she was abusing her child.
Listening to the sigh from the phone, Jessica knew that her friend was disappointed, so she said, "Amelia, I know that you're going to hold your wedding next month. I promise you that I'll kill Sawyer in advance, and then attend your wedding later!"
Amelia could not help but show a wry smile as she heard Jessica's solemn promise. If Jessica really killed Sawyer, could she still make it to escape from Streams Villa to attend her wedding?
After a pause, Amelia said in a very serious tone, "Jessica, I hope you will be my bridesmaid."
"Of course, I deserved the position the most!" Jessica replied optimistically.
After hanging up the phone, the smile on Jessica's face immediately disappeared. She stood up expressionlessly from her temporary 'bed', which was actually made of two pieces of wood. Then she opened the door and limped out, barefoot.
There was no one outside the door, and Jessica was secretly satisfied with it.
She followed the route from the previous day and got into the bathroom. After brushing her teeth and washing her face, she stared at the gushing water from the faucet. She finally could not help but take a few sips to satisfy her hunger.
Jessica turned to look at him as she heard this.
"How are you planning to do it? Give me a kick too? Oh, it's not like you can't do such a thing. I remember you've even nearly destroyed my... uterus once."
Sawyer's eyes darkened.
"It's said that even if you raise a dog, you will have feelings for it as time passed. Although I'm unworthy to have liked you, I'm still the one who accompanied you through your saddest period. Yet it's how you treat me in return? To be honest, you've taught me lesson. The one who drank with you, will never be the person who sent you home."
Sawyer finally said coldly, "Do you think I'll believe that your love for me that time did not involve any impurities?"
"It depends on what kind of impurities you mean. If your handsomeness and nobleness are impurities, then I suggest that you give up on them since you were born," Jessica sounded to be praising him. But in fact, it was pure criticism.
Sawyer's voice sank. "You know what I'm referring to. Why are you still playing dumb?"
Jessica chuckled. "If you're referring to money, then I'm even more innocent. Back then, I didn't even know your most basic information such as your name or the school you're from. So how would I know if you're rich? Even though you're usually generous, I can't determine how wealthy exactly your family is, right? However, I know that you won't believe me no matter what I say. While I don't need you to believe me either. I just want to kill you right now, and avenge my child!"
"You want revenge?" Sawyer suddenly grabbed Jessica's arm and forcefully dragged her out of the villa. He threw her to the man in black who had been guarding outside the villa and said coldly, "Throw her into the forest."
"Yes!" The man immediately responded.
In the stiff face of Jessica, Sawyer gave her a cold smile. "If you can come back alive, I'll give you another chance to hold a knife."
On the Land of Fragrance.
"It's strange. What's wrong with my eyelid today? It keeps trembling." After rubbing her eye, Amelia took the empty bottle from Sierra's mouth and put it aside. Then she said to her, "Let's go home."
Sierra immediately waved her small hand happily. She probably thought that Amelia was taking her home to find her mother.
Amelia touched her little head with pity when she saw this, but she could not say a thing.
Two hours later, Amelia carried a bag full of medicine and clothes and brought Sierra back to Land of Fragrance. However, she saw a tall, strange man standing at the gate of the garden. As beside him was a pink children's bed, she supposed that he was some delivery guy.
