Come To Me (Amelia and Patrick) novel Chapter 1641

After being stunned for a while, Patrick suddenly realized that Amelia was teasing him. He could not help but let out a long sigh of relief. If he really had to hold it in for a month, he would really rather be a monk.

After breakfast, Amelia came across the TV broadcasting about the gas leakage on Streams Villa and Sawyer going abroad. So she suddenly said to Patrick with realisation, "No wonder Uncle Quartley didn't contact me afterward. It turns out that he was fooled by the news."

Patrick thoughtfully watched the replayed scene on TV and said after a while, "It seems that Sawyer didn't want to make a big deal out of the incident."

"Does this mean that he has some scruples?" Amelia asked.

"Yes, I've said that Sissi is his sore spot. While Jessica has also said that she stabbed Sawyer. Concerning the two matters together, it's more important for him to find a place to rest and recover." Patrick said.

"That's great. We can relax for a while!" Amelia said with a big smile.

Patrick nodded and returned the phone to her. "Since Ryan has been misled by the news, I suppose he won't ask you about it anymore."

Amelia took the phone and kept it. "That's great, as I won't be put in a difficult situation."

Standing at the door and watching Patrick go to work, Amelia returned to the living room.

As soon as she looked up, she saw Jessica standing in front of the TV. She was looking at the scene of Streams Villa with cold eyes. She wondered what was on her mind.

"Jessica." She walked over, gently held her hand, and shook it. "Sawyer seems to have gone abroad."

Jessica came back to her senses and said to her, "Well, that's great."

Then she added, "Amelia, I feel embarrassed to have been staying in your house with Sierra for so long. Since Sawyer has gone abroad, then I'll bring Sierra back home."

Amelia frowned as she heard this. "Jessica, are you leaving so soon?"

Jessica nodded. "I'm already very grateful that you are willing to help me take care of Sierra in my most difficult time. I should try to face the rest myself."

As soon as Jessica finished speaking, the phone in Amelia's pocket suddenly rang.

After saying "wait" to Jessica, Amelia took out her phone. When she saw that the caller was Wayne, she quickly picked it up. "Hello, it's me."

Wayne's clear voice sounded immediately, "Amelia, yesterday, Patrick asked me to help Ms. Albert find a new residence as soon as possible. I have ordered men to do so and have found one for her. So I specially called to report to you. Do you want to send Ms. Albert there in no time?"

Amelia was stunned as she heard this. She thought that Wayne's call had come just in time. She was worried that Jessica had no place to hide. "Where is the location of the new residence?"

"It's in the countryside. It is a little bit shabby, but it absolutely serves well in avoiding the attention of others." Wayne described it to her, sounding as if it were a hideaway.

Amelia looked at Jessica subconsciously and then said to Wayne, "How about you come over now, we can discuss it together before making the decision."

"Okay, I'll be right there!" Wayne answered directly.

After Amelia put down the phone, she looked at Jessica and said, "Jessica, I have good news.

Wayne has found a new home for you and Sierra. I let him come over now to tell us in detail. If you can accept it, you can bring Sierra and try living there."

The corners of Jessica's eyes reddened. "Amelia, you've done too much for me. I, I really..."

Amelia interrupted gently, "Don't say such. We are friends after all. Well, don't cry, or I will cry too."

Jessica quickly wiped away the tears in her eyes and said seriously, "No, you are pregnant now, you can't cry!"

"Okay, then we both shall not cry." Amelia said with a smile.

Soon after entering the door, Wayne looked at the shoe cabinet. After making sure that Patrick had already gone out, he followed Amelia into the house with a relaxed look and felt free to chat with her.

Amelia took him to the living room where Jessica had been waiting in.

When she saw Wayne, Jessica naturally thanked him. It made Wayne scratch his head and rub his hands, feeling rather awkward.

Since he was a casual, tough guy, he was more used to conversing with curses like "f*ck you" and "you son of a b*tch". So when facing the sincere gratitude of Jessica, he did not know how to react.

"Okay. But I still hope that I can personally look for your wedding dress as it's my wish. Can I be able to fulfil it, Amelia?" asked Jessica.

Amelia nodded and said, "Of course! Why don't we go to the wedding shop right now?"

"That's a good idea, since I can protect you two as well!" Wayne chimed in excitedly.

The most important thing was that he could see Amelia in a wedding dress before Patrick. He could brag in front of others for the rest of his life!

Northville was one of the biggest cities in the country, so there were many wedding shops everywhere. Any bride would be dazzled by the various styles of wedding dresses displayed.

Right at the moment, being a step before Amelia, Jessica had already lost herself while facing the rows of wedding dresses. She said, 'Amelia, the white one looks nice. You should try it!"

But in the next second, she said, "But the pink one seems to match your skin tone better. You should try this set first!"

During the process, Amelia was completely coping with Jessica's pace as she would try whatever Jessica suggested. From Wayne's perspective, Amelia's marriage seemed to be done for Jessica, but Amelia did not think so. Because each dress Jessica had chosen for her was equally beautiful and it would be a pity not to try.

When Amelia came out of the fitting room wearing the pink wedding dress strongly recommended by Jessica, the nearby shop assistants and guests all gasped in surprise. The chest part of the wedding dress was a little low with a cut-out back to her hip. The bottom part of the dress was large and fluffy. It could greatly show Amelia's curvaceous figure while also cover her slightly protruded belly at the same time.

Wayne originally wanted to take photos as memory. But when he saw Amelia in the fit through his phone camera, he immediately covered his nose, turned around and took a deep breath.

"Patrick, I am not lascivious, but Amelia is too charming!" Wayne pressed the tip of his nose, which was itchy, while repenting in his heart.

In front of the mirror, Jessica looked at Amelia with admiration and said, "Amelia! You are really too beautiful!"

Amelia smiled and said, "All thanks to your excellent choice."

Wayne, who had finally calmed down, turned around and happened to see the smile on Amelia's face. At the moment, he thought that any man who saw such a smile would mistake himself as the groom that the bride was waiting for!

In order to avoid the chaos on the day of the wedding, Wayne reminded her in advance, "Amelia, the wedding dress is beautiful, but is it not... too flamboyant? It shall be fine if you wear it privately for Patrick alone. But if you're seen by other men, it might..."

Jessica touched her forehead helplessly. "That's right! It's my fault, Amelia. I only cared about showing you off, but forgot to consider your husband's feelings."
