Cross My Tigress Face the Wrath (Stella) novel Chapter 802

The harder Dan squeezed Yvonne’s neck, the more fiercely she bit into his cheek.

It was like, if she was going down, she’d take a chunk of his face with her.

In the end, Dan was the first to give in.

“Alright, alright! I give! Just let go already!” he yelped.

If he let her keep biting, his face was going to need a plastic surgeon.

Finally, Yvonne released him.

Dan could tell right away she’d bitten harder than ever before—there was warm blood trickling down his face.

But honestly…

It wasn’t that Yvonne had given up. The moment she tasted blood, the metallic tang was so gross it made her gag.

Dan wiped his face and when he saw the blood smeared on his palm, he gritted his teeth. “You better believe I’ll yank out every last tooth in your mouth!”

“Ugh, ugh, ugh!” Yvonne spat a couple times, but the taste lingered, making her retch for real. She bolted for the bathroom, doubled over with dry heaves.

Dan was already fuming, but seeing her like that, gagging and almost puking, his head just about exploded.

“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” he shouted after her.

This damn woman bites him and then acts like he’s disgusting?

Yvonne couldn’t take it anymore and locked herself in the bathroom, retching so loudly the whole floor could probably hear.

Dan’s face was thunderous. He wanted to storm in there and stuff a sock in her mouth, but he stopped himself, growled under his breath, and stomped out of the room.

He’d barely closed the door behind him when Yvonne’s voice echoed from the bathroom: “Susanna, you better come back to me in one piece! If you lose so much as a hair, I’ll make him pay!”

Dan: “…”

Susanna, Susanna… What the hell is it with her and Susanna? Did Yvonne really come all the way to Black Gate just to make his life hell for Susanna’s sake?

Yep. That was exactly it.

Dan felt a bitter jealousy twist in his chest.

First it was Xander, now it was Susanna! When had her loyalty wandered this far from him?

“What happened to your face?” Dan shot back.

Carroll wasn’t looking much better. He had a shiner so dark and ugly it could only be the result of a solid punch.

Not exactly a great look for one of Black Gate’s top guys.

Carroll’s jaw tightened. “Some woman hit me,” he grumbled.

He was talking about Chloe, one of Yvonne’s friends.

Carroll had been running things in Litamark for years—everyone knew his name. He’d never been treated like this before.

Getting clocked in the face by some woman? Unbelievable.

Dan: “…”

He shot Carroll a sharp look. “Seriously? You let a woman do that to you?”

Carroll: “…”

As if he could say anything. He couldn’t even handle Yvonne himself.
