The third thing happened when George was getting ready to go out the next day, only to be stopped by a last-minute message from his older brother.
He was told to tag along and watch the third live broadcast of *Voice of the Divine*.
"Huh?" George blinked in confusion.
The last time he'd gone, it had been out of curiosity—mainly because of that charity gala, and Serena had caught his attention. But after watching her perform, his interest had faded.
So why did his brother want him to go again?
"Bro, don't tell me you're interested in her?" George asked, raising a brow. "But isn't she supposed to be Christian's girl?"
Theodore shook his head. "No, it's not that. There's just something unusual about her. She might be useful for our current plans."
That made George pause, his expression turning serious as he nodded in agreement.
Meanwhile, Tyler stood in the corner office at the top of the Erickson Building, gazing out at the fast-moving clouds. His face gave nothing away as he stared into the distance, lost in thought.
…
Time flew by.
Late April brought a steady warmth to the city.
On the twentieth day of the mandatory cooling-off period before Emilia and Tyler's divorce could be finalized, the third round of *Voice of the Divine* went live.
Originally, there had been twelve contestants. Three had been eliminated during the second show, with one fighting their way back into the competition. Now, only ten remained.
Tonight, five would be cut, with just one slot for a comeback.
As always, Emilia wore her signature mask, making final adjustments in the back of the van before heading backstage at *Voice of the Divine*.
At the same time, Joyce and Seven were already in position, and even Jayden—who usually couldn't care less about the entertainment world—paused in the living room to catch a glimpse of the show.
"Vivienne, that same guy's here again. Third time in a row. How should we handle it?" someone asked, glancing over at Vivienne.
They meant the man who kept trying to corner Vivienne for an interview.
