Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 387

“What about me?”

“Tyler…” Vivienne’s voice was raw from coughing. “I know I’m impulsive, but I… I just don’t have much time left.”

She wiped her eyes, struggling to steady her words. “Tyler, I really, really want to have a wedding with you.”

Tears streamed down Vivienne’s cheeks, her face heartbreakingly vulnerable.

Tyler turned to look at her, taking in the sight of her weeping. At last, he let out a long, weary sigh, reached for a box of tissues on the coffee table, and gently dabbed away her tears.

“Don’t cry,” he murmured.

Vivienne’s gaze lingered on him, searching his eyes for reassurance.

After a moment, Tyler said quietly, “I’ve already divorced her.”

Vivienne immediately squeezed his hand. “Tyler, you love me, don’t you?”

He didn’t answer right away. His jaw tightened, lips pressed together in a hard, thin line.

But as Vivienne pleaded for his love, it was Emilia’s face that flashed before Tyler’s eyes. He remembered the way she laughed so freely with Theodore, and jealousy twisted painfully in his chest.

He really was losing his mind.

Elsewhere, the celebration dinner had wrapped up.

Theodore was driving Emilia and Bella home. When they arrived, Bella threw her arms around both of them in turn before hurrying inside.

Emilia watched Bella’s small figure disappear through the front door, feeling a strong, sudden urge to get everything finalized—to move forward once and for all.

But it would still take some time.

“Come on, it’s okay,” Theodore reassured her, noticing the worry on her face. “I’ve arranged for the nurses to be here. You don’t have to worry.”

Emilia nodded. She knew he was right.

Maybe it was the wine she’d had with dinner, but her emotions felt unusually close to the surface tonight.

They turned away from the house. The driver waited quietly by the curb, but Theodore caught Emilia’s arm before she could get in.
