Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 426

“Oh my god! That was incredible!”

It wasn’t just the people outside the studio or in the hallway—online, the chat had completely exploded.

If Emilia had always kept quiet about Vivienne before, this was the first time she ever responded. And not just any response—she did it live, face to face.

She went straight for it.

“I used to think Emilia was the quiet, reserved type who’d just grit her teeth and swallow her pain, but now? She’s feisty as hell!”

“I don’t care, I live for this kind of real drama! Watching the main characters go head-to-head is just too entertaining!”

“And Emilia’s seriously fearless. This is The Glenn Group’s turf, and Theodore’s still chasing after her, but she’s bold enough to put her wedding photo with her ex right up here for everyone to see. That takes guts!”

Emilia scrolled through the flood of comments, listening to a steady stream of updates through her earpiece. Laughter flickered in her eyes.

If Vivienne had the nerve to livestream from the home she’d once shared with Tyler, then Emilia had the nerve to hit back just as hard.

Vivienne loved that wedding photo, didn’t she? Fine. Emilia had it printed out and put on display for the whole world to “admire.”

Looking directly into the camera, Emilia smiled. “Well? What do you think, Vivienne? You still haven’t answered me. Do you like it?”

This time, all the pressure shifted to Vivienne.

She looked momentarily surprised, but quickly forced a smile—a smile far less genuine than Emilia’s.

“It’s lovely,” Vivienne said, her eyes glistening as she tried to look fragile, her words laced with implication. “I just didn’t realize you’d kept that photo. Seems like you still think about Tyler a lot.”

Emilia nodded. “That’s right, I remember him. He certainly left an impression.”

Seven years, two kids, and all the scars he left behind—“an impression” was putting it mildly.

Vivienne’s smile began to crack. She glanced aside at the flowers, coughed softly—playing the victim, as if she was the one being attacked, as if Emilia was the villain in all this.

After composing herself, Vivienne finally asked, “So, where should I go next?”

She coughed again, trying to look as tragically misunderstood as possible.

“The bathroom?”

“The study?”

“Or…” Vivienne paused, her tone loaded with meaning, “the master bedroom?”

She wore the same wide-eyed innocence, coupled with a stubborn, ‘fighting for love’ kind of resolve.

The chat went wild again.

These two were going head-to-head, live!
