Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 427

Emilia smiled, but this time there was a new glint in her eyes. If before she was just warming up the crowd, now she had to step up her game—a lot was riding on the success of this product launch.

With that in mind, she stepped out from the beds of flowers and returned to the golden river.

The picture frame at the center of the crowd glittered in the sunlight. The woman’s joyful smile, once so vivid in the photo, had faded away, replaced by something fiercer: conviction. The certainty of victory.

Emilia’s smile was measured and confident, warm but unyielding.

“Let’s keep moving, everyone,” she called out, leading the group deeper into the showcase.

Meanwhile, Vivienne’s excitement was building. What was so special about Emilia’s flower garden anyway? She was sure her own segment was far more thrilling.

After all, what could top the drama of the “other woman” livestreaming inside the original couple’s bedroom, wedding portrait in hand? That kind of edge was something Emilia’s cutesy sunflowers could never match.

With that delicious thought, Vivienne swept toward the kitchen. She arranged some flowers in the sink, then turned, cradling them in her arms as she showed them off to the camera.

“Monet’s water lilies,” she said with a playful smile, feigning confusion. “Where do you think these should go?”

She looked to the viewers for input, as if genuinely asking their opinion.

The chat exploded with suggestions, lines of text rolling furiously across the screen—but overwhelmingly, everyone wanted to see the water lilies in Emilia and Tyler’s old master suite.

“No, no,” Vivienne protested, pretending to be startled by the barrage of comments. “I was actually thinking of putting these in the bathroom.” She hesitated, as if she hated to step on Emilia’s toes.

She nodded, as though coming to a decision. “Alright then, let’s take a peek at what the bathroom in Hillside Manor looks like.”

Nearby, her assistant whispered to a colleague, unaware that their conversation was being picked up by the live mic. “Pretty soon, this will be Vivienne and Tyler’s bathroom,” he murmured.

He must have thought no one could hear him, but sharp-eared viewers caught the comment, clipped the footage, and amplified the audio online.

The chat only grew wilder. Some people were thrilled; others were disgusted.
