Farewell to Love: The CEO's Desperate Chase novel Chapter 67

"Ray, I got my invitation through you. I know you have your ways, right?"

"If you don't have any live footage, maybe there's a group chat or something? That would work too."

In the end, Ray pulled him into a group.

Ray warned him, "This is my ticket scalping group. All kinds of people are in here, so keep your head down. Don't chat in the group—if you get us all banned, you're on your own."

"Thanks, man." Seven replied, then immediately set his plan into motion.

Elsewhere, inside the Bentley, Vivienne looked startled by Tyler's question.

"I don't understand," Vivienne said, her brows knitting together.

Tyler watched her silently, his steady gaze enough to make anyone uneasy.

She lowered her head, thinking carefully.

"I don't know what you're getting at, Tyler. I did speak to her, yes."

Vivienne glanced up, looking fragile, her voice trembling.

"I found out she'd just lost the baby. She was still recovering, with injuries and all. I was genuinely worried, so I went to check on her, asked if she needed anything."

Vivienne searched Tyler's face, uncertainty and anxiety flickering in her eyes.

"Did she misunderstand me?"

She seemed to be replaying things in her mind, growing more agitated.

"I mentioned her injuries, and—her miscarriage… Tyler, does she think I let her secret slip?"

"That wasn't what I meant at all—God…" Vivienne pressed a hand to her face, guilt etched in every line. "You're the only one I mentioned it to, Tyler. I didn't tell anyone else."

Tyler studied her expression. Every word was seamless, perfectly plausible. She looked stricken with remorse, already fumbling for her phone, ready to message Serena to explain.

Maybe it really was a misunderstanding.

He exhaled softly. "It's fine."

"I just wanted to ask," he added.

Soon, the car pulled up outside Vivian Floral Atelier. After Tyler escorted Vivienne inside, he returned to the car.

"Mr. Erickson, where to next?" Jensen asked from the driver's seat.

Tyler frowned, watching Vivienne bustling around inside the studio. He tapped his index finger against the door, deep in thought.

After a moment, he said, "Send a message to the team. Tell them to bring Eugene over."

"Yes, sir." Jensen nodded, immediately pulling out his phone.

The car pulled away, heading toward The Erickson Group headquarters.

Suddenly, Jensen's voice broke through, panicked. "Mr. Erickson, there's a problem—Eugene's missing!"

Tyler's frown deepened. "When did this happen?"

Jensen's face had gone pale. "It was just reported. Turns out he's been gone for almost a month, but the team kept it quiet. They only found out when they tried to hand him over and he was nowhere to be found!"

"After what happened last time, Eugene's held a serious grudge against us. Things haven't been easy for him since he went home. If—"
