“Josie!” Natalie gasped. She never expected to run into Josie at that moment.

She quickly lowered her head and inspected her clothes. ‘Fortunately, it’s winter, and I’m wearing several layers. She can’t see anything,‘ she thought.

She then turned her head again to look at Kyle beside her. Kyle looked embarrassed, his expression somewhat awkward.

This made Natalie feel a little uncomfortable. Although she didn’t want Josie to misunderstand her relationship with Kyle, she was upset about Kyle’s behavior. It felt as if he was ashamed of being with her.

Sean leaned over to fasten her seatbelt and asked, “Would you like to listen to a song?”

“Okay,” Josie said, smiling, and turned to look out the car window.

Aloville was a leading city in the country. Without exception, every recent graduate in Aloville wanted to stay in the city to develop their career.

In her previous life, Kyle successfully graduated with a master’s degree, and through David’s connections, he entered the Central Research Institute. To gain a foothold, he went to great lengths, even going so far as to sell his own body.

“No need,” Josie shook her head and said. “Don’t waste your resources on such people. Even if it requires little effort, don’t do it, because it is not worth it.”

Josie smiled and said, “You can ask Colby’s aunt for help with this matter. At the medical conference the year before last, I saw her communicating with representatives from foreign medical equipment companies.”

The Clem family was surely familiar with equipment pricing. Although she had the suppliers‘ contact information, she lacked experience in purchases and sales. Having an intermediary would ease bargaining

over prices.

Any savings for the Reedshaw family, no matter how small, are worthwhile,‘ she thought.
