Kenneth adjusted his glasses and smiled. “Of course, I do.
“To be candid, Mr. Nelson immediately took a liking to you at the seminar today.

“He remarked that young people with both courage and a sense of responsibility are exceedingly rare nowadays.
“Just for your courage to step forward and save Mr. Longley, he is willing to nurture your
talent.
“The fact that you are only in your senior year in college is not an issue. I assume you are planning to pursue graduate studies.
“You may join our team as an assistant now. After you complete your graduate program, you can transition directly to a formal position, which will save you the effort of searching for a position.”
With an air of confidence, Kenneth produced a business card and handed it to Josie. “Call me when you have decided, or you may come directly to the National Hospital to find me.”
After considerable effort, Josie finally located Sean’s car and jogged over.
She said, “You must have been waiting for a while. I left quite early, but unfortunately, I was delayed for a bit.”
Sean glanced at Kenneth, who was not far away, and calmly withdrew his gaze.
He said, “It’s okay. Get in the car!”
He leaned over to fasten Josie’s seatbelt. She had hurried over and was still out of breath. As Sean drew closer, a faint aroma of coffee drifted toward him.
He paused for half a second, almost uncontrollably moved even closer.
He believed that the fragrance likely originated from the hand–care balm provided by Delilah.
This balm was personally formulated by Delilah and contained a substantial amount of
herbs.
Because the medicinal odor was too strong, Delilah added coffee fragrance to mask it.
Yet, Josie’s favorite smell happened to be the smell of coffee. Now that she was full of the fragrance of coffee, he wondered if that meant she was destined to be a member of the

Reedshaw family.
With this thought, Sean inexplicably stopped worrying.
After Sean sat back down, Josie handed him a business card.
She asked, “Sean, do you know this person?”

“Kenneth Garfield?” Sean looked surprised. He had not expected Josie to bring up this matter. “Did he come to see you?”
Josie nodded obediently. “He wanted me to join Mr. Nelson’s team as a medical assistant, but I did not agree.”
Sean asked, “Mr. Nelson’s team is more advanced than Professor Lawson’s team.
“Every year, numerous doctoral students scramble to join. Why don’t you consider it?”
Sean looked at her with a playful expression.
“Stop making fun of me!” Josie’s face flushed red.
She said, “Don’t think I don’t know what you’re thinking. Anyway, I’m not going. As a senior, I can’t compete with those PhDs.
“Even if I could, I would not do these kinds of things. I have only just agreed to work with Professor Wilcourt; how could I possibly accept the offer from Mr. Nelson and his team?
“Their team has no connection whatsoever to acupuncture.”
Sean drove the car out and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel.
He said, “Mr. Nelson’s team excels in pharmacology. The successful launch of many new drugs each year would not be possible without their contributions.
“He has made a certain degree of contribution in the field of cellular medicine.
“I recall that Professor Lawson previously intended to collaborate with him, but for some reason, there has been no further information.”
“I don’t care about any of that!” Josie tugged at her scarf, her breathing casing somewhat.
She added, “Anyway, I am fully committed to acupuncture and only want to stay with Professor Wilcourt’s team. No one else can poach me!”
“Alright!” Sean smiled, turned his head, and pinched her cheek.

He believed that she spoke with genuine sincerity. However, he didn’t think they could predict what would happen in the future.
After all, everyone aspired to rise higher.
Sean thought, ‘Mr. Nelson’s team is superior, and no one could blame Josie for wanting to join.
‘This is her decision. I will not blame her either way!
After giving out his business card, Kenneth drove back to Xander’s residence.
He was certain that Josie would call. If not today, then no later than tomorrow.
He believed that such a strong temptation was not something a girl in her senior year could possibly withstand.
Their team had never recruited an undergraduate student before, and it was unclear what Xander intended with this decision.
