“So you’re Ms. Clem. I almost got it wrong. That explains it…” Sven chuckled. “So, how is it? I didn’t lie to you, did I? Our equipment is good, isn’t it?”

Lindsey smiled, ‘Yes. This was requested by someone who knows their stuff, so it’s good. By the way, let me introduce you to an old friend. I suppose you haven’t met yet, have you?‘

Audrey, still pale and not yet recovered, said, “I will not be joining you. Please enjoy your meal, and I will see you at the afternoon training session.”

She nearly fled in a panic, afraid she would hear everyone’s laughter if she left too late, although no one mocked her out of boredom.

As soon as she left, Jaden and the others also left one after another. They were too embarrassed to join Lindsey for a meal.
