Josie smiled and said, “An intern who has twice managed to put David’s students at a disadvantage is certainly not an ordinary intern.

“Impossible!” Ian’s expression was one of frustration.

He said, “We have been at the research institute for one or two months, and our formal internship onboarding has only just been completed.

“Prior to this, these individuals did not even know who we were.

“This paper has only just been published, so why does everyone already act like they’re so familiar with us?

“Who is that person, anyway? How come I’ve never seen him before?”

He said, “We chose to stay back then because Professor Wilcourt was willing to sign our entire

team.

Josephe said, “There is absolutely no chance of that happening, so please rest assured. I am a person of my word. You have helped us so much. We would never be so ungrateful.
