Rhea continued, “And would someone go to Mrs. Snider, claiming that they have the medicine to save the kids and George’s reputation?”

A sudden thought sparked in Kate’s mind. She wanted to shut Rhea’s mouth permanently.

She wondered how Rhea had figured out her plan.

Rhea offered the answer herself. “Your methods aren’t any more sophisticated than Lauren’s. She only knows how to act weak and pitiful to win others‘ sympathy.”
