Liora was rendered speechless. She had been close to George since she was a child, though.

George had to admit that Nathan’s crying actually felt sincere.

“Can you save your crying for our wedding day?” George reached for a tissue, trying to calm him.

Nathan felt miserable.

He hadn’t been there for Rhea’s first marriage. And now, hardly after returning home, she was already engaged again. How could he bear to let her go?

He almost wished that Rhea would never marry and just stay at home carefree, living like the cherished daughter she was. As her brother, he could provide for her for the rest of her life.
