Thinking about Tess’s pale, dying state, Zane slammed his hand down. “Arrest every one of them! Tie up the leader! Whatever they did to Mrs. Lock, do the same to them!”

His order was carried out instantly. The bodyguards charged forward like arrows loosed from a bow.

Within minutes, a crowd of captives were forced to their knees before him.

The sight gave Zane a surge of pride.

His jaw tightened. For a moment he even carried the same authority as Finn himself.

He stepped up and yanked out the ringleaders–Kit and the low–voiced man.

At that moment, a strange growl rumbled from the back of the warehouse.

Both men flinched.

To make the video of the raping, they had drugged that simple–minded burly man.

And now, by cruel timing, the drug was kicking in.

Before they could react, strong hands grabbed them both by the neck and hauled them up like

chickens.

It was clear–this was a woman’s room.

“Who lives here?”

Back outside the warehouse, Zane showed the photos he had taken to the group squatting in the corner.

They only needed one look before their faces twisted with fear.
