~ Flashback: Age, 20 ~

Thankfully, I had enough sense to grab the food I brought. Then I ducked into a closet that I know Sean rarely uses. He keeps a couple of extra suits in here for emergencies. There are other odd and end things. I prayed that he wouldn’t have a reason to open it today.
I put my hand over my mouth as I listened for more signs of life. Finally, I heard Sean’s door shut, and I was sure I heard the sound of it being locked, but I wasn’t positive. I could hear some shuffling around and see shadows through the crack under the door. I wasn’t even sure why I was hiding in the first place. If Sean wanted to leave me, I’d never stop him. Even if it meant going back to Daniel. After everything Sean’s given me… I never want to take anything away from him. Especially not his choices about who to love.
“Get on your knees,” I heard Sean say.
“So grumpy,” a female, Lisa, I assume, said playfully.
“Shut the hell up!” Sean snapped, making me jump a little. I’ve never heard Sean sound like that before. “After that bullsh.it of a meeting, I need a fu.cking release. So get on your knees
and open your fu.cking mouth.”
There wasn’t much more talking after that. I could hear shuffling of clothes, like a zipper being pulled. Then I could hear Sean’s breathing pick up. He groaned slightly, but nothing like the way he sounds when he’s with me. He’s very vocal with-
“That’s right, you sl.ut. Suck my co.ck.”
I went rigid. That was Sean, but it didn’t sound like my Sean. The Sean I knew was kind and polite. Even in bed, he always praised me. This… is different. He sounded mean, cruel almost.

I had no other choice but to sit there and listen as this went on. Sean continued to say derogatory things to Lisa as she sucked him off. It was strange and revolting. Sean had been like that with me only a few times. Usually when he was a little tipsy, but it always sounded endearing. Nothing like this. He’s also never lasted this long in my mouth.
To say I was utterly confused was an understatement. All I could do was sink to the floor and silently cry as I listened. Even the grunt Sean made when he came sounded different to me. I wasn’t sure if I was just going crazy or what the hell was going on.
“Come on Sean, what about me?” Lisa whined.
“Take care of yourself,” Sean spat at her.
“No, you haven’t fu.cked me in weeks,” she argued, whining still.
Wait, weeks?
“Fine! Pull your panties down and bend over my desk,” Sean ordered her.
I heard some more shuffling right before hearing Lisa’s loud moans. I squeezed my eyes shut, wishing I would suddenly go deaf. I didn’t want to listen to this. I might not be able to love Sean the way I thought he loved me, but I do still have love for him. Hearing all of this still hurts. Even if I don’t feel like I don’t have the right.
“My wife looks so much fu.cking better than you bent over my desk,” Sean’s voice broke through my spiraling. “I should have went easier on her. Made her my assistant. Then I could bend her over my desk whenever I needed to vent out some frustration.”
“Don’t act like you don’t like my pu.ssy,” Lisa replied. “After all, it’s not like you ever stopped fu.cking me. How many times did you leave here after fu.cking me, all to go on one of your little dates with her? Hell, you even let me suck you off the night before your wedding.”
Everything stopped in that moment. My breathing. My mind. My heart.
“I left you to go be with her!” Sean growled out. “Every fu.cking time! My wife is better than you in every fu.cking way! You’re nothing more than a convenience! She is my everything! You’re nothing but a wh.ore! But my wife? She’s mine. All fu.cking mine.”
What the hell is happening? This can’t be real.
“You’ve been with her for five years, Sean,” Lisa purred. “It’s okay to admit you have needs.”
“Just shut the fu.ck up!” Sean hissed out.
Then I started to really hear some noises. The slapping of skin. More moans. More harsh words being spit out by Sean. I tuned it all out as my mind swirled with confusion, trying to

break down everything he said.

Five years? What the hell was she talking about? Sean and I have only known each other for just under two years. Five years ago I was only 15. He was 20. Is she talking about someone else? Sean didn’t correct her.
There’s no way that Sean could have known me back then. I was still with Mom and Tusk at the compound. This just doesn’t make sense. Any of it.
If Sean loved me and I was so much better, why was he even doing this? To vent out frustration? About what? Why can’t he do what normal people do and yell or get a fu.cking stress ball? Why does it have to be this?
Finally, after what felt like hours, they were finally done. Their moans finally stopped. Now all I could hear was my heart thundering in my ears.
“Take those panties you left too,” Sean said. “Don’t ever let me catch you leaving anything behind again. If my wife ever finds out about this, I’ll send you straight to hell, Lisa. Don’t step out of line.”
“Y–yes sir,” she replied.
God, I had no idea Sean could sound so… scary.
“My parents and Daniel should be here shortly for a private meeting,” Sean said, and my blood ran cold.
His parents and… Daniel? Surely he doesn’t mean… my father Daniel, right? No. There’s no way. Why would Sean be meeting with Daniel?
Unfortunately for me, I didn’t have to wait too long to find out. I don’t think even 20 more minutes had passed before Lisa announced Sean’s company. I heard the familiar voices of his parents. I was just about to fully convince myself that this Daniel was someone else entirely when I heard his voice.
“So, how have things been going with my daughter?”
No…
“Better than expected,” Sean replied, much too smug for my liking. “I knew you would be able to mold her for me.”
“I just think you should count your lucky stars that Blythe was Daniel’s daughter,” Frank, Sean’s father, said. “Things could have been a lot harder if she wasn’t.”
I heard Sean scoff.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m very lucky,” he replied. “She’s completely wrapped around my finger.”
What the hell is this? Am I trapped in a nightmare?

“I just can’t believe the amount of bad luck that follows that girl around,” Daniel said, amused. “I mean, I never wanted anything to do with that brat. It was pure coincidence that you saw her in the library that day.”
“I knew she was mine the moment I laid eyes on her,” Sean said, almost sounding like he was daydreaming. “Luck has been on my side. All the things we planned worked out perfectly. It helped that no one came looking for her ever.”
“That biker gang won’t be a problem, dear,” Mary, Sean’s mother, said. “We made sure to keep them busy.”
What the heck did that mean?
“All that torture she went through paid off,” Daniel said, sounding pleased with himself. “She thinks of you as her hero now.”
“I am her hero,” Sean bit out.
Daniel chuckled.
“The first time she was whipped, we had to blindfold her because you wanted to be the very first one,” he said, and I had to slam both hands over my mouth. “You watched and orchestrated all of her abuse. You told me what to say, when to say it. She might think of you as her hero… but you, my friend, should stop being delusional.”
“I’m not delusional!” Sean snapped. “I love her! I did it for her! So that we could be together!”
The way he sounds is terrifying. This is a million times scarier than what he was saying to Lisa. I don’t understand any of this. Sean… he… he knew? He was there? He… did this to me?
“If she ever finds out the truth…” Daniel trailed off. “About how you did all of that to her… About how you own Silent Divine… she’ll never look at you the same again.”
Owns… Silent Divine…
I think I’m going to be sick.
This can’t be real.
Sean… owns…? He….
