Chapter 212

Hello,Shane replied.

Selena’s leg injury hadn’t healed yet, so Shane was carrying her. At that moment, he set her down, and she tiptoed to grab Valeria’s hand before turning to Leo. What are you doing here? Did you see my message?

Leo nodded. I saw it.

It was only after seeing Selena’s message on his smartwatch that he decided to go

there.

Leo turned around, cupping his hands like a megaphone before he shouted toward the tall figure who was some distance away. Uncle Sebastian!

Valeria looked toward him.

No matter where Sebastian appeared, he always stood out. His figure, bearing, and looks all marked him as someone born to be the center of attention.

He answered lazily and started walking over.

Sebastian glanced at Shane, and the two exchanged a brief look.

There was no need for words. In fact, there wasn’t even so much as a nod.

Sebastian looked toward Valeria.

It had only been three days, but time seemed to have dragged unbelievably slowly.

After a short break, the fire show resumed, and the crowd began to gather again.

Leo called out, Uncle Sebastian, I want to see. Hold me up.

Sebastian’s expression stayed stern. Aren’t you too old to be carried?

Leo tiptoed.

Children were like that. The more they were denied, the more curious they became.

Valeria patted his hair, and when she saw the disappointed look on Leo’s face, she said, I’l hold you up.

Sebastian let out a faint scoff. She doubted that Valeria could even lift this chubby boy.

Valeria ignored him. She bent down, grabbed Leo under the arins, and tried lifting him up, only to find that he was indeed quite heavy.

Chapter 212

Shane stepped in and took over, picking Leo up easily. Let me.

Shane set Leo on his shoulders, granting Leo a better view. It was Leo’s first time seeing everything from up there.

Wow!He gasped as he looked around with widened eyes.

Sebastian’s expression darkened. Get down.

Leo hunched down as he peeked at Sebastian.

Sebastian’s expression was incredibly dark. The wind ruffled his short hair, revealing the shadows of displeasure on his brows.

In the end, Leo chickened out. He got down from Shane, muttering inwardly that Sebastian was a big meanie and that he’d tell Martha once they got home.
