In some ways, it followed a standard reality show arc.
The two favorites made it to the final round. A rematch to settle the score that never truly came before. A classic setup straight out of manga or a sports novel.
But right now, no one was complaining about clichés.
Gulp.
An NFL event official who had once contacted Kade Walker sat frozen, eyes locked on the screen.
"What even is this?"
He could’ve fast-forwarded a few minutes and seen the outcome.
He’d know who won.
But Aprinta didn’t. He couldn’t look away. A running back standing tall with the leather ball in hand. A linebacker crouched low, staring him down. A head-on standoff.
If you asked a hundred people who had the upper hand, a hundred would point to the linebacker.
The running back had to protect the ball and get past. The linebacker only had to take the ball.
Of course, the odds favored the linebacker.
But there were environmental factors at play.
Mud... trenches... and the rest was sand.
No turf. No cleats. No grip.
Both players were restricted. So in these conditions, who was at the disadvantage?
Still the running back, Aprinta thought.
Then—
BEEP!
The ref blew the whistle, unwilling to let the standoff drag on any longer.
SPLASH!
Kim Donghu was the first to move, launching forward without hesitation.
Kade followed instantly, diving into the mud right after him.
ㄴHe just charged in?
ㄴKade dove right in too, damn.
ㄴOkay... what now?
ㄴShoulder tackle again? No way, right?
They sprinted toward each other.
Kade lowered his stance even more—
WHAM!
Exploding forward with speed that defied the mud, he darted toward Donghu like a lion in mid-pounce.
Arms wide, Kade went straight for Donghu’s lower body.
With the ball clutched to his chest, Donghu’s upper body was limited—Kade aimed to grab his waist and thighs for the tackle.
ㄴDamn, look at Kade’s thighs
ㄴYou see those things swell?! LOL
ㄴGuy’s got horse legs, seriously
A dash fast enough to shock anyone. If Donghu had been any ordinary person, he’d have been flattened.
But suddenly, Donghu’s rear leg slid back—and then—
WHOOSH!
He lifted himself into the air straight from the mud.
Since Kade went low, Donghu leapt over him.
But Kade had predicted this.
"Hup!"
He yanked his body upward, rising just as Donghu soared.
Kade had seen it coming— If Donghu was in the air, he couldn’t defend himself. He was about to grab him out of the sky—
CRACK!
But Donghu’s arm slammed down on Kade’s shoulder—not to push, but to vault.
Using Kade’s body like a gym horse, Donghu launched himself up again.
And then—he did something no one expected.
ㄴ
ㄴ
ㄴ
ㄴ
ㄴLOL
ㄴWHAT EVEN IS THIS
ㄴYou’re not an actor, are you
ㄴYou’re not a boxer either
ㄴDid they seriously bring actual Tarzan into Physical 300?
ㄴWhat the actual hell
ㄴDude’s insane
Donghu placed his weight on his own arm, planted on Kade’s shoulder—and performed a one-arm handstand.
Like a gymnastics routine.
Donghu’s entire body flowed upward in a perfect arc, balanced on one arm.
TAP.
He landed, clean and sharp. Despite adjusting his ◈ Nоvеlіgһт ◈ (Continue reading) posture mid-air twice, his eyes showed no stress, no fear, no effort.
"Still thirty seconds left."
He had completely cleared Kade—without breaking a sweat.
"Yeah, I lost this round."
Kade, now standing again, laughed in disbelief.
Round 1 over.
Then came the replay. Ultra slow-motion. The few seconds of exchange, now revealed frame-by-frame.
ㄴWatch Donghu’s eyes—LOL
ㄴHe looks down, then up, shifts balance, locks onto the ball...
ㄴKade adjusting to counter—it’s insane
ㄴThis is another level
ㄴKade tried to rise, but Donghu already peeled off clean
ㄴWhat happens when two world-class monsters collide?
ㄴWhy is one of them a damn actor LOL
"What was I thinking at that moment?"
"Honestly, just one thing: Donghu Kim—I'm going to get you into the NFL."
That’s what Kade said in his post-round interview.
And with that, Round 1 was done.
"...Is this guy even human? This isn’t an 'East Asian level'—this is next level."
NFL match rep Aprinta was losing it.
The explosiveness. The agility. The power. The split-second decisions.
It was all NFL elite tier.
At this point, ethnicity didn’t matter anymore. Aprinta was completely hooked on Donghu’s running back performance.
If that field had been wider?
If there was even a single lineman to block the linebacker?
If it was turf instead of mud?
He would’ve just blown right through.
Sure, this wasn’t actual football. And yes, Kade had been playing at half-gear.
But that didn’t mean he held back.
He gave it his all under the set rules—and not only did he fail to strip the ball—he never even touched it.
"Holy moly... Jesus."
How the hell had this happened?
While Aprinta was still reeling, on screen, Kade made a surprising suggestion:
"Can I hold the ball for Round 2?"
But Netflix aired this moment for a reason.
He blinked—and Donghu was there.
When did he move?!
Before the thought could even finish—
WHOOSH!
Donghu’s hand came for the ball. Kade twisted his body on instinct, spinning to escape. Using his ankle strength, he quickly stepped backward.
He was mid-rotation, putting distance between them—just as he thought he had gained a safe gap—
Huff.
A short breath. Then—
CLAMP!
Donghu’s arm shot forward and grabbed the leather ball.
And just like that—the match was over.
The moment he touched the ball—
KRK-KRRRKKK!
Donghu squeezed with monstrous strength.
He compressed the leather under his fingers.
To grip harder. To pull harder.
To take control—even more than Kade, who had it tucked under his arm.
“No—”
Kade had panicked. He thought—if I push forward now, I can turn the force in my favor.
Maybe, just maybe, he could burst out of the grip.
But—
THUD!
It was over in an instant.
The ball slipped from his side as if it had been ripped out by sheer force.
"Heh."
Feet planted into the ground—Donghu had thrown a straight-line pull, and Kade couldn't withstand it. The ball was gone. Pulled from his arms, just like that.
Kade shook his head as he remembered it all. Then, a phrase he once said came back to him:
“Change the title. Not Physical 300, but 1 vs. 299.”
He had no idea how right he was.
Physical 300. What a deceptive name.
“This is Physical 1.”
A stage built for one man. And now, the world had seen the result.
“Whoa! Donghu Kim!!! That was insane!!! Dad!!! I’m officially a Donghu fan!”
“What about Dad?”
“You’re second place now!”
“...”
Kade bowed his head—his son had officially switched allegiances.
Damn it.
“Well... when we do the event match, I’m teaming up with him no matter what.”
If you can’t beat him—join him. Hell of a quote.
***
At the same time—
“An upset! We have a shocking upset!”
“Can you believe it? UFC heavyweight Zain Lance has just taken the WBA heavyweight title!”
A new earthquake rocked the world stage.
Zain Lance—now the undisputed unified heavyweight champion across UFC and WBA.
And during his victory interview—
“Donghu Kim!!! I came here to take everything from you!”
He called Kim Donghu out.
