Married to Mafia Boss novel Chapter 139

Chapter 139

Alia POV

Marco hung up the phone and turned to me. I need to go out for a while. You rest first and

wait for me to come home. Don’t go out.

OkayI walked him to the door and cautiously reminded him, “Be careful on the road. No

matter how urgent the matter is, handle it calmly.”

Hearing my concern, Marco suddenly stopped and turned back to look at me. Come here.

What? Not knowing what he wanted, I walked over to him innocently.

As soon as I got close, Marco cupped my face and gave me a firm kiss. Don’t worry. Go to bed

early.

Mmm.I nodded, my face flushed.

After Marco left, I recalled how urgent he had sounded on the phone and wondered what had happened. I remembered the last time Marco was in such a state was when he went to see his

sister Sabrina. I wondered if it was about her again today.

I guessed correctly. Marco was indeed going to see Sabrina.

His assistant Carlo had just called to say Sabrina had gotten drunk at a cast party and had hit

someone.

The driver, Salvatore, glanced at Marco through the rearview mirror. Seeing his gloomy face, he mustered the courage to comfort him: Young master, don’t worry. With Carlo and the others there, Sabrina won’t be at a disadvantage.

Only those who had been with Marco for years truly understood him. Hearing that Sabrina had hit someone, he was worriednot about her hitting someone, but about her being mistreated.

It took about half an hour for Marco to reach his destination.

Salvatore parked the car, and Marco got out. Carlo hurried over to meet him, looking troubled. Young master, Sabrina is truly drunk this time. She won’t let anyone near her.

Marco said in a deep voice, Lead the way.

Carlo quickly led Marco inside. They soon spotted Sabrina lying ungracefully on a stone bench

in the park, loudly singing: I love, love, love you endlessly. I can love you day after day, month after month, year after year, forever. Why is love so difficult

Seeing her in this state, Marco’s anger flared. He walked over and hoisted her over his shoulder.

Sabrina was completely drunk and had no idea who was carrying her. She swung her fists wildly, kicked her feet, and used all her strength against Marco.

Who’s this drunk maniac? How dare you touch me? Put me down! Do you know who I am? Be careful, or I’ll destroy you.

Sabrina!Marco roared.

Hearing Marco’s voice, Sabrina shuddered. The alcohol seemed to wear off halfway, and her limbs suddenly went still. She didn’t dare make another sound.

Even in her drunken stupor, when she heard that familiar, magnetic voice, Sabrina immediately recognized who was carrying her.

Besides him, no one else would dare treat her this way.

She reached out with her delicate hand, fumbling around Marco’s back, and sighed, Marco, why is it always you who comes for me?

Why don’t you find a girlfriend? As she spoke, Sabrina shook her head and sighed.

Marco, what kind of woman do you like? Tell me, and I promise to find you someone who’s one hundred percent perfect. Among the women I know, there are sexy ones, innocent ones— whatever type you want. Though honestly, they’re all a bit inferior to me. But don’t be too picky; not every woman in this world can be as beautiful as I am.

Sabrina rambled on, and when Marco didn’t respond, she patted his back again and said, · Grandfather is nearly eighty now, and he’s surely eager to hold his greatgrandchild. Even if you don’t want to get married, you should at least consider him.

While Sabrina was thinking about all sorts of random things, Marco was struck by her first

statement.

It was because he hadn’t told his family about his marriage that Sabrina had this misconception about him.

With Christmas approaching, he decided to take the opportunity to bring Sabrina home to meet Alia tonight, also as a way to give his grandfather a headsup.

Chapter 139

Marco

Shut up!He couldn’t let this little girl continue.

Marco put Sabrina in the car and sat down beside her.

Seeing Marco’s gloomy face, Sabrina pouted but didn’t dare speak again. What if she angered her brother and he sent her back to America?

Salvatore turned to look at them and asked, Young master, where to?

Back to the Casanova apartment,Marco said, then turned to Carlo outside the car. Have Luca prepare a sobering soup and send it over later.

When they arrived home, Marco thought I would be asleep, so he opened the door and walked very carefully, gently carrying Sabrina to the guest room.

Sabrina had fallen asleep on the way. Marco covered her with a blanket and adjusted the room’s air conditioning to a comfortable temperature, determined not to let the little girl catch

cold.

Looking at Sabrina’s sleeping face, Marco sat down beside her bed, gazing at her tenderly.

For eighteen years, taking care of his sister and ensuring her happy, healthy growth had become an inseparable part of Marco’s life.

Back then, when his mother brought Sabrina home, he was just ten years old. Looking at that tiny baby, he had felt something indescribable.

Perhaps it was because he had watched her grow from such a tiny being into a young woman that Marco feared her getting hurt.

He ruffled her hair and stood up to leave, but Sabrina suddenly turned and grabbed his hand. Brother, I’m scared to be alone. Stay with me.

When she was little, she was terrified of sleeping alone, especially during thunderstorms. At those times, she would crawl into his bed and hold onto him as she slept.

Alright, I’ll stay with you,Marco held her hand, gently patting her. Don’t be afraid. Your
