Alia POV
“Okay.” I nodded, grabbing my phone to check the time. It was already past 3 AM.
Soon after, Marco emerged from the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist, covering just the essential parts.
His freshly washed hair was still dripping, some droplets falling onto his firm abs. I couldn’t help but swallow hard at the sight.
Covering my burning face, I quickly averted my gaze. If I kept looking, who knows what I might do.
Marco walked around, grabbed a hair dryer, and went to dry his hair.
Shortly after, he returned with his hair dried and slipped into bed beside me.
Worried I might do something to Marco, I instinctively moved away from him.
I had barely moved when Marco pulled me back, holding me in his arms. “It’s late. Go to sleep.”
With him holding me like this, my face was pressed against his bare chest. Our position was so intimate–was he really just interested in sleeping?
I glanced up at him discreetly and saw his eyes closed. It seemed he genuinely just wanted to hold me while sleeping, with no other intentions.
Seeing him so calm and composed, I felt an indescribable sense of defeat.
Was I really that unattractive to him?
Thinking this, I deliberately moved my foot, brushing against Marco’s leg…
“Your leg injury hasn’t healed yet.” He held down my restless foot, stopping my movement. “Sleep properly. Don’t mess around.”
1: “…”
I really wanted to kick him hard. How could this man be so oblivious?
Frustrated by these thoughts, I pinched his waist forcefully.

Chapter 140
I used considerable strength–enough to hurt him–but he didn’t even make a sound. He only tightened his embrace slightly.
In Marco’s warm embrace, I soon fell asleep again.
When I woke up next, it was because “someone” was pressing down on me.
I had been sleeping soundly when “someone” suddenly pounced on me, pressing me down so hard I could barely breathe. I opened my eyes abruptly to see a young girl lying on top of me.
The girl squinted contentedly and reached out to touch me. “Marco, you said you’d sleep with
me, but you left. Now I’ve caught you!”
With a stranger suddenly appearing in bed and pressing down on me, I screamed in fright, not
even registering what the girl had said.
Sabrina was startled awake by my scream. She stared at me with wide eyes and exclaimed, “Who are you?”
“Who are you?” I stared back at the girl on top of me with equally wide eyes. We locked gazes, both examining each other, both wondering who the other was.
Marco, who had been working in the study, heard my scream and rushed into the room almost
instantly, only to find the two women in his life staring at each other.
“Sabrina, what are you doing?” Marco’s tone was particularly harsh.
Only then did Sabrina and I come to our senses. I had seen Sabrina’s photos online before and had almost misunderstood Marco last time, so I recognized her face.
Marco’s sister–how did she end up in my bed?
Sabrina, however, was as excited as if she’d discovered a new continent. She jumped up on the bed excitedly. “Brother, so you have a girlfriend! You even brought her home to sleep with, but
why didn’t you tell me?”
Without a word, Marco walked over, picked Sabrina up, and carried her back to the guest room. He said sternly, “Stay in here. Don’t come out without my permission,”
