Chapter 45 Tell Him to Get Lost
Catherine called Adam and told him her plan.
Adam was delighted. “That’s wonderful. With you on board, Ms. Quinn, maybe we can restore the Quinn family’s former glory.”
“Well, I’ll need a lot of help from you, Mr. Mayo,” she replied with a smile.
“It’s only right I help you, Ms. Quinn. Leave the company matters to me. Once you resign, you can step in and take over immediately.”
Warmth spread through Catherine’s chest. “Thank you, Mr. Mayo.”
For the first time, she realized that without Harry, everyone around her was kind to her.
After she hung up the phone, she saw Jeremy walking over.
“I heard you say you’re starting a company. Are you planning to go into business on your own? ” he asked.
Catherine gave a small hum and followed him into the dining room. “Yes. I want the Quinn family to rise again. When my mom wakes up, she should still be the proud Mrs. Quinn everyone remembers.”
It was a shame that Wesley would never return.
“How’s Mrs. Quinn now?” Jeremy asked softly.
Catherine sighed. “The same. The doctor says her chances of waking up are very slim.”
“I know a few neurologists abroad. If treatment here doesn’t work, we can take her overseas,”
he comforted her.
She didn’t dare hold out much hope, but she still smiled and responded, “Then, I’ll trouble you when the time comes.”
Jeremy then served her some food and said, “See if my cooking’s any good.”
Catherine took a bite and praised him. “For someone with a packed schedule, your cooking is surprisingly good!”
“I just enjoy cooking whenever I have time. I’m glad you like it.”
He had worried she might not like the food, but her praise put him at ease.
The two chatted for a while before Jeremy excused himself. As he left, he even carried out the

trash.
When he opened his car door, Julian’s voice came through. “Mr. Bell, Ms. Quinn and Mr. Zimmerman have already gotten their divorce certificate.”
Jeremy’s reaction was calm, but the curve of his lips betrayed his good mood.
He believed Catherine and Harry should’ve divorced long ago.

Harry didn’t know the first thing about cherishing her. There were plenty of men who would, men who weren’t blind like him.
“Go find Harry. I need to thank him for giving Catherine up to me.” Jeremy was in high spirits
and wanted to sour Harry’s mood.
Julian nodded and drove to Zimmerman Group.
Harry’s face darkened when he heard that Jeremy had arrived there. What did he want?
Things between him and Jeremy had completely broken down because of Catherine, so he knew Jeremy couldn’t be here to reminisce about the old times.
Putting the document in his hand aside, Harry uttered, “I’m not seeing him. Tell him to get
lost.”
As soon as the words left his mouth, Jeremy’s voice rang out from outside.
“After all our years as buddies, telling me to get lost cuts deep.”
Harry looked up and frowned.
Jeremy walked in, looking smug and triumphant. It was a sight that only fueled Harry’s
irritation.
“Are we buddies?”
“Want to grab a drink?” Jeremy walked up to Harry and smiled faintly.
Seeing Harry’s look of annoyance, Jeremy added with a grin, “Think of it as a toast to your divorce and return to single life.”
