Chapter 90
Denise grabbed Caitlyn’s arm just as she was about to slap her. “What are you gonna do? The only thing you can try is to get me fired. But you don’t have that authority. Even if I do get fired, it won’t be because of someone like you, a total slut!
“I warn you, don’t touch me. Otherwise, don’t come crying to me if you end up having a miscarriage later.”
“Denise, Leland is here. I’m going to go find him right now and tell him everything that just happened. Just wait and see!”
Denise snorted coldly, “Go for it. I’m not scared. He’s only where he is now because he’s been relying on the Perez family all this time. You think he’d have the guts to confront me?”
Caitlyn was furious, and I coldly curled my lips.”Denise, why bother reacting when some bitch like that lashes out at you? Honestly, she’s just a pathetic slut. She’s already involved in someone else’s marriage, yet she walks around as if she’s discovered some incredible love. Don’t these types always think they’re something special? But trust me; her little act won’t last forever.”
Denise nodded upon hearing my words. “Yeah, someone like her is only cut out to be a pathetic bitch.”
As Denise followed me into the CEO’s office, Caitlyn fumed and stamped her feet behind us. Her face was twisted with anger as she glared at the people pointing fingers at her.
She exploded in anger, “Get out, all of you! Yeah, I hooked up with Leland, but who cares? Even if you tried, Leland wouldn’t want you! And remember, I’m pregnant with his kid. Soon, I’ll be the one in charge here. The pathetic one isn’t me. It’s Kaylie, because she’s the one who’s unloved!”
Once inside the office, I closed the door. Denise gave me a big hug.
“Kay, you’re truly amazing. You’re the wisest, calmest, and best woman I’ve ever met. You are who you are, and you don’t need Leland’s approval at all.
“Since Caitlyn wants a scumbag like that, let her have him. Don’t cry or feel sad or upset. It’s not worth getting angry over those two bastards.”
