A worried expression flashed across Denise’s face, and then she spoke,”If the target is Caitlyn, I’ll go with you!”

I nodded and dialed the phone number of Leland directly.

A few seconds later, the phone was answered.”What’s wrong, baby?”

Hearing that, I rolled my eyes, took a deep breath, and with a hint of drunkenness in my voice, I said, “Hubby, come pick me up. I’m at the Floral Space; Ive drunk too much.”

After a moment of hesitation, Leland said, “Alright, don’t move around. I will come to pick you up right away!”

I hung up the phone. A few minutes later, Leland drove away from the bar.

It seemed that he cared a lot about me.

I really wanted to get into his heart and see if he had one.

Why did he love me but still want to kill me?

As Leland’s car left, Caitlyn also came out.

I opened the car door, ran my fingers through my messy hair, and walked straight towards Caitlyn, bumping into her face to face.

“Ouch, are you blind? How dare you?! What’s the hurry?”

Caitlyn cursed vulgarly. Denise joined in, saying, “Who are you cursing at? It was an accident. Are you looking for trouble?”

Caitlyn was furious. “Damn it! What did you say? Do you know who I am? Do you know who my husband is? Quickly kneel down and apologize to me, or I’ll have my husband come and kill you cheap girls.”

I used all my strength, and my hand was numb from all the hitting.

“Ah!’ Caitlyn unexpectedly grabbed my hair too, and Denise, seeing that, immediately bit Caitlyn’s hand back.

Let go, or I won’t stop biting you!”

Caitlyn released her grip in pain and said, “Who are you? I will call my husband right now; he will put you in jail!”
