Chapter 29

I smiled and shook my head slightly, “I am thinking about the theme ‘Young Forever, Down Never’. I remember I told you about it before…”

I hadn’t finished speaking when Leland’s phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID, which was Bunny.

I mocked myself. It was Caitlyn.

I consciously turned my head towards the car window, and Leland nervously explained, “Just a crank call!”

awkwardly smiled and said, “Well, I am a bit tired. Wake me up when we arrive!”

eland nodded and quickly changed the caller ID before I closed my eyes.

Delivery Guy?

What was Leland thinking?

quickly closed my eyes and mocked myself. Had I been blind? How could I have been in love with such a man?

took a deep breath, then another breath, and sat in the car. It was hot outside, but I felt an icy chill.

Harsh words hurt; I didn’t expect to hear anything sincere from Leland anymore.

While wondering, I hooked my arm around Leland’s, and we arrived at the Regional Fashion Design Fair.

looked into the distance, and Caitlyn stared at me with a provocative look in her eyes. But I saw her as nobody. Humph, I didn’t even bother to pay

ttention to her.

Caitlyn’s face was swollen, and there were bruises on her forehead. I wish she had died. I gritted my teeth. But looking at the reporters who surrounded ne and Leland to take pictures, I had to force a smile.

Honestly, I wanted to just expose everything. But doing so would ruin Leland’s reputation, which would ultimately destroy the company that my arents worked so hard to establish.

My parents’ dream of pushing the group into the foreign market would also be completely shattered.

And I had to admit that I came here today with the hope that the clothes I designed could bring profit and fame to the Leslie Group.
