Chapter 36
Yeah, I have seen this woman before. She used to be the secretary of Mr. Pearson. Ms. Perez looks so unhappy. Could there be something between Caitlyn and Mr. Pearson?
“I heard that Caitlyn bought a mango cake for Ms. Perez on purpose because she knew Ms. Perez was allergic to mangoes. As a result, Ms. Perez directly exposed it in the company group chat out of anger. And Mr. Pearson, being very protective of his wife, immediately fired Caitlyn. I don’t think there is anything between them.”
“It turns out Caitlyn was expelled for plotting against Ms. Perez. No wonder Ms. Perez doesn’t like her. She is no good for Ms. Perez and Mr. Pearson’s
marriage.
Caitlyn clenched her fists in frustration.
Because of the intense pain caused by the vigorous movements, Caitlyn ground her teeth and had to cover her face and come down.
The reporters loved gossip. The blue-clad journalist who had asked Leland tricky questions spoke up again.
“Ms. Hoffman, when did you obtain your designer certificate? According to our investigation, you used to work as Mr. Pearson’s secretary at the Leslie Group. Were you fired?”
Caitlyn’s eyes widened in anger, “I don’t want to tell you when I got my designer certificate. It’s none of your business!”
The reporters looked at each other, and the one in the blue shirt stepped forward again.”Ms. Hoffman, were you beaten? Can you tell us who beat you? Is it true that you are kept by a wealthy man?”
Caitlyn was stopped and quite frustrated. She stared angrily with her eyes and shouted, “Nonsense! Watch your mouth! I am not a celebrity, so you’d better not report any of this nonsense about me.”
“Ms. Hoffman, in three months, your personal account balances went from five thousand dollars to fifty million? Are you going to explain? Are you with a wealthy man?”
Upon hearing the questions from the reporter, Caitlyn clearly panicked.
